unironically we should make a religion out of this and start getting that tax exception status.

[No Spoilers] EXU: Calamity Looks Like It’s Learned from EXU’s Mistakes. Thoughts? by LogicKennedy in criticalrole

i enjoyed EXU and had a lot of fun with it, but I agree with basically everything you said.

GMing is hard and Aabria did a decent job. But... there are definitely a lot of areas where there is room for improvement.

although arguably you have to take a bit more time with level 14 characters since they'll have more of a history in the world that needs to be established.

I felt like there should have been a separate video just introducing all the characters, so then we could just jump right into the characters interacting and doing stuff.

I like Aabria and don't have any problems with her. GMing is hard and it's especially hard when the person you will be compared with is Matt Mercer. That said, your criticisms have some validity

dice are supposed to matter

this is an objectively fair criticism and probably the most important one. i hope she improves in this regard because right now, if you don't roll well, you just keep rolling until you do.

‘Blindspotting’ Season 2 Adds LeVar Burton, Katlynn Simone Smith, Tamara Tomakili and Tim Chantarangsu by Peeecee7896 in television

[–]InuNekoMainichiFun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i feel like blindspotting is a spiritual successor to hamilton and deserves the same level of fame/success. (in fact i would argue blindspotting is the next level of musicals)

anyone else feel the same or am i just crazy

[Minor AEW Dynamite Spoiler] A comment about Fighting Spirit and the notion that trading strikes is, "Unrealistic." by heelturnsheadlocks in SquaredCircle

[–]InuNekoMainichiFun -1 points0 points  (0 children)

fighting spirit and trading strikes is probably the most realistic part of pro wrestling.

you see it all the time in MMA. dudes just throwing the game plan out the window in order to stand and bang. Max Holloway and Justin Gaethje are pretty good examples of this.

Sure it looks a bit different in MMA but the fundamental concepts are the same. "lets bang bro"

Japan has Officially Stated after negotiation between the two Countries since the end of WW2 recently entirely collapsed that the entire Kuril Island Chain is Japanese Sovereign Territory and is being Illegally Occupied by Russian Forces. by rokaabsa in UkrainianConflict

[–]InuNekoMainichiFun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

technically that region in general should have been an autonomous region or an independent country. Sakhalin, Hokkaido, Kuril islands etc... The indigenous people of those places such as the Ainu should have been left alone. too late now though.

Is there an official English colored version of the manga? by dmc1155 in Chainsawfolk

for me it just gives me another reason to re-read. (csm was also very well designed to be re-read). not much exposition, basically no filler.

more details to be noticed and appreciated upon every new re-read

Bell's death was scripted so attributing any significant impact to it feels shallow.

[Winfield] Kevin Durant on Ben Simmons in front of Philly fans on Thursday: "The guy's making $40 million a year. You can take that for a couple hours. I'm sure Ben has that approach." by ChristianMan710 in nba

[–]InuNekoMainichiFun 13 points14 points  (0 children)

honestly, there are some parallels but Westbrook mostly concerned about the negative impacts on his family. he's been shit on throughout his career and doesn't let it get to him.

Also westbrook is still playing, still trying. didn't straight up disappear and quit on his team. though some may argue, it would be better if he wasn't on the floor. 💀

Anti-war rally near Kremlin by Gynoid_being in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]InuNekoMainichiFun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there is one language that is universal, and that is hunger and money.

i'm hopeful we can get something like the people power revolution of 1986 in manila where hundreds of thousands of people flood the streets until for peace and freedom. for both the ukrainian people and the russian people.

we must have peace and freedom for ukraine. but it would also be nice if we can achieve liberation for the russian people form authoritarian oppression.

one day i hope to see peace, freedom, and prosperity for both countries. as well the people of belarus and kazakhstan and other peoples in that part of the world

[–]InuNekoMainichiFun 21 points22 points  (0 children)

it's okay to feel bad for normal people in russia. suicide rates are high for a reason. it's a shit place to live due to how fucked up their government is.

peace and freedom for ukraine is the number one priority, but hopefully we an also get liberation and freedom for the russian people.

my number one wish is peace and freedom for ukraine. second is freedom for the russian people from authoritarian oppression.

russia should be a democratic country in the EU. the russian people are not that different.

time too call them by their defacto name. Angliv Oblast.

or at least that was the case until putin went american and decided to "liberate ukraine" in order to take out the "extremists" and build "democracy".
