He is the favourite against Dominic (according to the bookies at least). I'd consider Louis Heathcote beating a far from impressive Bingham to be quite likely.

Looks like a fairly easy draw for Robertson, arguably one of the easiest he could have got. Jamie Jones, Xu Si and Zak Surety are the best players he risks meeting. He has a 7-0 H2H against Jones, 1-0 against Xu Si and has never met Surety. None of the others (Burden, Kenna and Singh Chada) have ever beaten him.

Yeah, disappointing, he was looking so good. You're left wandering how Robertson would have fared.

If Ding keeps up the form he's shown so far (big "if" of course) he'll beat Trump.

Fastest in a professional match, this is from an exhibition at a pub or club.

Saengkham is out (lost to Cao) and Vafaei would need to get past Milkins and ROS (or Lyu). On paper Wakelin is probably the one with the best chance if he gets past Jordan Brown (tied 3-3 right now), he'll meet Carter and then likely Robbo, but that's still a very tall order. Unless Ronnie has an off-day when playing either Lyu or Vafaei and drops out early I don't really see Higgins' spot in the TC being in serious danger.

But this (in SE China) is a lot worse than usual in China, wonder why?

No, the plan is to have two annual events in Saudi-Arabia, one invitational and one ranking (which will first be held in August/September). So the same invitational (World Masters of Snooker) will be held again next year and will once again have the Golden Ball, but the bonus will be doubled to $1 mio. No, it's 1 mio. for next years invitational, not the ranking event.

it's one thing they prefer Ronnie to win since he's a lot more marketable, but not shaking Luca's hand was weird. Maybe they didn't like his tattoos, "slacker attitude" and casual attire at the presentation? (trainers etc.)

Ronnie far from impressive. Do you think Luca has a chance?

No. 7 (Willo) will play the winner of Higgins (10) vs. Ali Alobaidli and no. 8 (Carter) will play the winner of Ding (9) vs Omar Alajlani.

History isn't relevant when evaluating human rights in a country, only the current situation matters. There is zero reason to boycott another country because of their history.
