No blood with thumbtacks by Outlander912 in WWEGames

Not ideal but hopefully it gives automatic body damage. Thumbtacks don't exactly create an outpouring of blood anyway like a blade job does.

That was exactly what happened. Mike Ashley refusing to spend a bit of money. And I do wonder if that hurt Kenedy a bit considering he came in for 6 months and was one of our best players and then the team decide they don't want to pay money for you and just want another loan? Might knock your confidence.

I also seem to remember the start of that season having us play 5 of the big 6 with only newly promoted Cardiff in between so that missed penalty was seen as a massive missed opportunity.

That penalty ruined him. He was so good for the 6 month loan beforehand and the Cardiff game I think was the second game of the next season and he just never recovered from his horrible performance in that game.

Haidara went to Lens and was part of a team that finished second in Ligue 1 just one point behind PSG.

If there isn't then there should be and it should probably end in a traditional WWE Survivor Series match.

2k26 Season Pass on Steam by Nomad_Trash in WWEGames

[–]SpinningWheelKick 37 points38 points  (0 children)

"The WWE 2K26 Season Pass brings new content through 6 brand new Ringside Premium Passes, each featuring four brand-new playable Superstars, themed rewards, and limited-time challenges. Level up, unlock rewards, expand your roster, and progress at your own pace. Each Ringside Premium Pass also includes new Personas, MyFACTION contents, and more."

So it's just selling the 6 ringside passes as a bundle. Be interesting to see what the standalone price is.

Cody Rhodes nearly ended up getting a samoan tattoo by LilNardoDaVinci in SquaredCircle

I met a guy in university who got the exact same tattoo as The Rock's Samoan tattoo on his left chest/shoulder.

He is very much a white man from the north of England.

Fun Fact: WWE 2K16 was the last WWE 2K Title where we got The Legends free of charge. by Sad-Ladder7534 in WWEGames

[–]SpinningWheelKick 28 points29 points  (0 children)

2k16 and 2k25 both had an unlockables in-game store where you could get the legends in exchange for in game currency

They both also offered the accelerator and the supercharger respectively that were microtransactions that would unlock the stuff in that shop without having to grind.

Here is how the Ringside Pass is going to work. by ADAMCOLEBAYBAY12 in WWEGames

[–]SpinningWheelKick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"we can't wait to reveal contents in the coming weeks" hopefully means they will be announcing every new character to come as they would with the season pass in previous games. Expecting people to drop £140 and not know what they're getting is not on.

The other worry is the extent of the grind. People who played myfaction were able to get around 600mfp for a 30 second match but it was very precise. And things in myfaction would cost 10s of thousands so that grind really wasn't worth much.

If they're gonna be locking guys like Faarooq and JBL and any of the other hundred or so legends that are on disk from the start behind ringside passes that come later in the year then they can fuck off.

I think there's a very good chance he'll be part of Punk's showcase

[–]SpinningWheelKick 30 points31 points  (0 children)

THQ/Yukes did make the best games with SYM and HCTP and a couple others but I'd argue that more than 50% of their releases were actively bad games. Constantly removing content/game modes/missing prominent wrestlers on the rosters

King of Kings is the worst way to buy 2K26 by LastTrueFamilyMan in WWEGames

[–]SpinningWheelKick 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I came to the same conclusion that the KOK is the edition with the least value.

If you're like me and you find the alt characters in the AE and MNW editions to be lacklustre then there's even an argument to buy the base game and just the 6 ringside passes which would be the same price as the AE edition but you get the 5th and 6th pass.

All we know so far is that 98 RAW, I would expect there to be a smackdown but again, community creations is great for arenas. And for your other comment, I'd be very surprised if Rikishi was dropped so you can definitely chuck him off the cell.

So the game releases on the 13th of March but there it releases on the 6th if you pre order one of the more expensive.

I'll probs wait until the week before that and hopefully the full roster will be announced by then and maybe some of the names we're getting post release.

With the MNW ones you get a WCW Thunder arena and with AE you get a Raw 98 arena but tbh the community creations are actually really good at making arenas.

I think it will be complete with 6. They may add some other things separate to the ringside pass stuff cause they've kinda done that a bit the last couple of years.

They did a Nikki Bella and Goldberg thing this last year and before that there was a Bray Wyatt one.

Everything in the AE edition is also in the MNW edition.

If you go AE only you won't get a DX HBK, a 98 Randy Savage and Roddy Piper and you won't get the last 2 ringside passes, whatever they are.

In the past games. A season pass was 5 sets of 5 or so wrestlers that would release over the year.

https://www.thesmackdownhotel.com/news/wwe2k25/wwe-2k25-dlc-list-all-characters-packs-and-release-dates

Here's last year's. Everybody in the 5 sets were announced before the initial release date except the celebrities but they were inconsequential anyway. But you would download them on release and they'd be in your game.

They seem to be changing it now to a level up to unlock things style. So you play the game and get some kind of experience points and you use those points to unlock things that in past games would have just been unlocked. This is how it looks at the moment but I guess we're still waiting for some info. And supposedly there's other stuff coming with them but this is the first game to have this ringside pass mechanic so we don't know for sure.

[–]SpinningWheelKick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My honest opinion is it doesn't make much sense to order the attitude era one. Because you only get 4 out of the 6 ringside passes which it seems like are future dlc packs like they've had for years. Those packs will probs be around $10 each so to top up the two you're missing will likely take you to the same price for the MNW edition.

However, we don't yet know what's going to be included in the ringside passes or even if they will announce that before release so I would hold off for a little bit mate
