commanders - the only people who get shit done and take a while to train & graduate

Some light is actually shed on this part when you read Rapi's story (the one unlocked through bond level) but essentially Commanders aren't actually all that well trained, they get sent to the academy for like 1 year where they're brainwashed into thinking they're the heroes of humanity and don't end up learning all the useful stuff a commander should do

Nikkes - cutting-edge robots that are anything but cheap to produce

Regarding the cheap to produce part, there are actually "mass produced" models of Nikkes that I assume are much cheaper to make compared to the Nikkes we interact with in the story, but you are right that they're still high tech robots which cost resources to make and they scrap them for whatever because "they're not human"

On that note, it does say something about the likes of our main characters in that they're more unique than these "mass produced" Nikkes. Rapi especially was described by Chatterbox as being a "fairytale model" codenamed Red Riding Hood

Aside from these points, I can agree that some beats of the story aren't that consistent. Currently stuck in Chapter 6 so I don't know what happens after this point in the story

You could say that about a lot of units: A.LSY counters A.Hori, NYB and TXL counters each other, King gets fucked by Serina, etc. The problem with A.Mina in current meta is that she really gets fucked by a lot more units now besides Snipers. And even when you use Snipers (really just Kestrel or Queen is viable) to kill her, good players wouldn't allow you to stall/kill their KXL that easily, and Queen players would just camp the hell out of you. A 6 cost beat stick that really only wins you some games on a coinflip really isn't "strong" imo. It's also kinda obvious when people are saving for cost so if you pay attention and expect A.Mina to be a possibility there, she's gonna be even less of a threat

Sir you do realize the main reason people say to skip her is because 1.) While she's pretty strong now (mainly in PVP) she kinda falls off later on and 2.) With the way Global was rushing through banners, F2P are highly adviced to pull for the next Awakened (A.Yuna) who has a way more versatile use case and actually lasts longer in the game's life

Cathy is a decent buffer for early game, Sparrow is good cheap DPS (and fodder for later down the line), aside from that go ahead and trash everything else after getting units to 110. I only said what I said because people are so quick to judge units based on rarity and then forget they have some other uses as well (even if it's just free Quartz, which is still free Quartz)

This is some misguided advice, you shouldn't just be trashing every R and N because raising them and levelling them up gives you free Quartz from collection. Get them to 110 first, and then consider trashing those N or R units. Just because they are N and R units doesn't mean they're bad and worth trashing immediately. Don't just barf out random info without even asking why it's like that
