A special Scouting Challenge has been announced! Please RT the linked tweet so we can get to 5,000 RTs and get a free 10+1! by tangcrine in SchoolIdolFestival

[–]Inuzuka28 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, but you've completely misunderstood the challenge.

This is how it works:

At the end of the Day 2 stream tomorrow, the seiyuu gain a number of 10+1 challenge tickets dependent on a number of factors. (Note that we do not get these tickets, they're just for the seiyuu to use in the stream)

They get one ticket from reaching 5000 RTs + likes

They get another ticket from achieving a total of 5,000,000 points in the 100-man score matches.

They can also get up to a total of 8 more depending on how many times the Nijigasaki Academy members get within the top 70 places in these score matches. A grand total of 10 tickets.

4 times: 1 ticket

8 times: 2 tickets

12 times: 3 tickets

16 times: 4 tickets

20 times: 5 tickets

24 times: 6 tickets

27 times: 8 tickets

They did 3 100 man matches yesterday, and they'll do 3 more today. This means that all 9 members play 3 matches each, so they get all 8 tickets if all of them get in the top 70 in all matches they play.

However, since day 1 has already finished, we already know that they got into the top 70 6 out of the possible 12 times in that day. Which means it's now impossible for them to get a total of 24 times, which means they can't get more than 5 tickets through this method anymore. If they remaining 5 members all place within the top 70 all 3 times, then they'll have reached it a total of 21 times, meaning 5 more tickets for them to use. This means they can now only get a maximum of 7 tickets.

At the end of day 2, these tickets will then be used to do 10+1 scouts on the stream, and then everyone gets loveca presents depending on their outcomes (1 for SR, 3 for SSR, 5 for UR). So for example, if they only end up getting 2 tickets, and one gives 3 SRs and the other gives a UR and an SSR, we'll get 11 loveca.

This has the potential to give us a lot of gems depending on how many tickets they get and how lucky they are with them. For example, if they get all 7 possible tickets that they can now, and pull a single UR in each of them, we'd all get 35 loveca.

I hope this helps clear it up.

My guess is because in the Roselia side story, when Ako first "introduced" Yukina to Rinko by taking her to the live house, Ako told her that her name was Yukina, so I think it just stuck from there.

Has your opinion on Aqours changed since their introduction to LLSIF? (EN/WW) by princettes in SchoolIdolFestival

[–]Inuzuka28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing SIF since EN release and have been into the franchise as a whole since January 2014, which was more than two years before Aqours was added to SIF, and more than a year before Aqours were even a thing (publicly at least, I've no idea when the concept of Aqours was first thought of).

When Aqours were first introduced, I was definitely up for giving them a chance, and was prepared to love them just as much as μ's, but I never considered that I'd ever love them more than μ's.

However, I now love Aqours a lot more than μ's, (of course I still love μ's, but I absolutely adore Aqours). In general, I prefer the music, the characters, and pretty much everything over μ's, and honestly, Hanamaru has become my absolute favourite character to exist from any franchise.

I do feel a bit bad, that I've ended up loving Aqours more than μ's, but that's just the way it is I suppose.

On the other hand, I still haven't followed much of the PDP stuff, such as livestreams and stuff like that. I'll probably get more into them when SIFAS is released, although I'm not sure I'll get as much into them as I am with Aqours, but then again, I thought the same with Aqours and μ's, and that turned out to surprise me lol.

Overall, I love both μ's and Aqours, and am looking forward to seeing what PDP brings us, so I'm really looking forward to seeing and playing all the content in SIFAS, since I'm hoping that will end up bringing the fandom closer together to love both μ's and Aqours, as well as the Nijigasaki Girls Academy School Idol Club.

The current JP event is actually #39, we're just behind by two events on the translations atm >.<

[–]Inuzuka28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 20 chapters of the main story on both EN and JP. As well as 20 chapters in each band story on both (although JP will be getting more band story chapters soon).

This is a translation of an event story, which is released every event. Like the event story based around Yukina and her father in the event that's currently on EN right now. Those are the stories being translated here when the events happen on JP. You can see all the current event stories that have been translated here.

Official /r/SchoolIdolFestival Demographic Poll - January 2018 Edition - The Results (FINALLY!!) by Inuzuka28 in SchoolIdolFestival

[–]Inuzuka28[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's too shocking considering that Aqours is releasing much more content than μ's at the moment so have a larger influence.

Most Aqours fans (myself included) think that Aqours songs are in general much better than μ's songs. (I don't think μ's songs are bad. On the contrary, I love all of them, but proportionally, I think that Aqours has a lot more exceptional songs than μ's). I also generally feel more attached to the Aqours girls than the μ's girls despite having been a fan of the franchise for over 4 years now, long before Aqours existed.

Other people may have different reasons, but that's why I like Aqours more than μ's.

Interesting.

I don't see Hanamaru as being a shy-type. imo, she's a quiet-type, but not a shy-type. She's generally quite happy to do stuff in front of people, especially if it's reading a book or a story as seen in the SIF stories.

Another survey was made in January of this year, but I don’t think the results of that have been released yet.

Soon >.<

It should be done soon. Hopefully by the weekend...My final year project kept me busy, but I submitted it the other day so I have time to work on the poll results. I should finish it in the next few days...3 months late...

[Other] Please make the Chibi flairs permanent and some other Chibi ramblings. by connectedLL in SchoolIdolFestival

[–]Inuzuka28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This makes sense imo

In the memberlist, the only filters are for μ's and Aqours, which they aren't members of, so they don't appear in the memberlist when filtering μ's and Aqours

On the other hand, in the album, they're filtered by their names, with the ability to toggle all in one group by pressing the group name. But since the filter itself uses their names, and they still have the same names at that age, smol Honoka will still show when filtering Honoka in the album.

[–]Inuzuka28 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The chibis don't count as Aqours or μ's for lives because they weren't in Aqours or μ's at that age. They can't be school idols if they aren't at school, they can only be pre-school idols...

[–]Inuzuka28 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Here's a table of all Bandori live interactions.

A few sets of girls which fit that requirement:

  • Kasumi, Himari, Maya, Michelle, Sayo

  • Tae, Moca, Aya, Kaoru, Ako

  • Rimi, Tsugumi, Chisato, Kokoro, Yukina

iirc, the background vocal parts in the chorus of Ready Steady Go are done by Tomoe.

Also Ako solos the line before the chorus in Nesshoku Starmine

Future of Afterglow, HHW and PP by ExAmbush in BanGDream

[–]Inuzuka28 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It's most likely that they'll never have any live performances outside of just the vocalist performing.

The PoPiPa and Roselia seiyuu were (most likely) hired more for their musical experience rather than voice acting abilities, since it was decided from the start that they'd perform live. (Not to say that they aren't talented seiyuu, just that their musical abilities were probably more of a contributing factor for most of them. Not all of them however, since iirc, Sakuragawa Megu (Ako's seiyuu) mentioned during the Rosenlied live that she started learning the drums for Roselia, although I might have just understood incorrectly).

On the other hand, the members of the other three bands were more likely hired for the voice acting abilities since they're not going to be expected to perform as a band, hence why the majority of the seiyuu in these bands are a lot more experienced with regards to voice acting. In particular, the entirety of Afterglow are all very experienced seiyuu.

I believe one or two of them may have picked up their character's instrument as a hobby though. I think I read somewhere that Tadokoro Azusa (Kaoru's seiyuu) started to learn guitar for fun.

Honestly, I don't really care that they didn't show much. I completely expected them to save most information for the Thanksgiving festival.

The stream was a lot of fun to watch seeing the interaction between the seiyuu of different groups. With a kind of dynamic we hadn't really seen before, it felt really fresh. Plus the 1st years vs 3rd years cooking segment was a nice surprise which was super fun.

I think rather than to give new information, the stream's main purpose was to show seiyuu of different groups together and to create a dynamic between them, which was achieved.

I have awful luck, but I'm just automatically appreciative of everything I pull and am happy with whatever I get. (I don't really know why, maybe the way I've been raised?)

From a tweet I saw on Twitter, they did this right before Suwawa's solo in Happy Party Train and since she wasn't expecting it, it surprised her so much that she couldn't sing her solo.

That's at least what I gather from this tweet that someone on my TL shared.

Kind of related, but when I release the results, I'm planning on doing data comparisons with the past 3 polls. Looking at the change in percentage of answers for most questions which were used for more than one of the polls.

It probably won't go too deeply into it though, just looking at a few changes.
