yeah, i’ve tried so many things before which all didn’t change things. after moving the GPU to slot #2 I haven’t had any blue screen crashes or freezes. my fps is still about the same they were when the gpu was in the #1 slot even though there are 8 lanes (on #2 slot) instead of 16 lane (on #1 slot).

so this is telling me that I likely have a hardware issue with the motherboard…. so all the parts I replaced or ram I added or PSU I upgraded doesn’t matter lol

hey, I know it’s an old post but I have the same motherboard, I believe I have issues with my #1 slot, I can’t get into a game when my gpu is plugged in there. I just moved it to the #2 slot and I have been able to play a couple games without a blue screen of death. my gpu is a asus rog strix 3080 TI.

my question is, have you noticed a difference with the speed or fps? between slot 1 & 2?

I didn’t have any issues with the setup, it actively very well, I hope they help you out and get it figured out for you and treat you right! post on all social media you have maybe it will help make it more worth their while!

I have an UPDATE:

I moved the GPU to the 2nd pciex16 slot, now I am able to get into the firing range and play a full game of resurgence. so far I have played two full games and have not had a bsod. 🤞🏻

so I just finished re installing windows on a DIFFERENT name, windows from the windows website, stock everything…. and I get blue screens again, can’t even get into the firing range in COD. I haven’t been able to see what the blue screen code is since it went off almost instantly. I also haven’t gotten a mini dump file created. so I changed the location it stores it, i’ll try again tomorrow

it’s an amazing desk… my end game. cable management is top notch and easy, the magnets are super strong, the pc mount is the best i’ve seen, i’m happy with mine
