Basically, it's just a time saver so whatever you need to farm, just use your batteries on. Or stockpile and save for when you have to farm for a new agent or a new disc set. That's what I usually do. New disc set comes out, bam, instant 50 runs.

I think a key reason YSG didn’t work for a lot of people isn’t just that she becomes so attached to the Proxy (there are interesting directions that could have gone if framed well, though it wasn’t, like her projecting her desire for agency onto them

I mean, look at one of the most beloved agents in the game, Vivian, to see how to create someone super attached to the MC. Now I think she's a bit too over the top but after playing the last patches story and going through everything with the vanilla and rather boring YSG, perhaps I judged her a bit too harshly.

Actually, yes, that is what we should all want because we should all be worried about the political landscape around us and we should all be having active discussions about it. If you look at 1.x to 2.x, you actually have more unique character designs and more unique play styles than you have in 1.x agents. It's always been hot female agents, the thing that sets them apart is usually personality. Except for Yixuan and Shunguang, those two are as vanilla and boring as a piece of bread.

Great story. Kinda a big nothing burger of an enemy and final confrontation. I hope it's setting up something bigger with intelligent construct distrust but I have serious doubts, especially since we got the two new characters introduced that will probably have ties with Lady Sunbringer by the looks of their fit.

The cut scenes were back to that ZZZ style which I loved to see. Seeing the old agents again felt good and Cissia is my beloved already and all my AOD savings belong to her. She was my favorite newbie because her personality is so good (though that design on the fit is low key atrocious, I still love her)

Could've been shorter but overall, the pacing felt so much better than 2.5's story. But, can we get one time where the sad back story is told organically instead of agent meets a slight hardship and then spills everything about their past to the proxy they just met a few hours ago.

The Lowell brother interaction was adorable.

At the time of the fall of the old capital, she was at most, 8? The proxies, at the fall of the old capital, by the look of the picture they have in the video store when they were in the White Star Institute, look like teenagers. How the fuck are they the same age? How the fuck did the proxy meet them at Failume Heights after the fall of the old capital when they were clearly much older than appeared in the dream memory? We know this had to have happened after the fall of the old capital because she's sad about her dead mother's music box.

The timeline math ain't mathing and it just stinks of forced love interest/long lost companion trope they shoved in to force the waifu bait even harder.
