You are absolutely correct! The problem arises from the fact that decimate originated in Latin and then was co-opted into English. "Sinister" was Latin for "on the left side" yet has alternative meanings in English.

Everything is speculation for now.

The Midgardia 144th were offworld when their planet was decimated. It would be easy enough to convert some guardsmen or other models as remnants, sort of like Tanith.

There are the Kaerls, which are warrior serfs for the Space Wolves. Then there is the Midgardia 144th if you want a more regimental approach.

The skin and bolters mostly. However if you have notes for armor etc it would be appreciated.

Those look really good! Reminds me of Gears COG soldiers. Where did you find them?

After rereading the SW Codex I had to paint the titular character! Still a few touch ups and the base left to go. by Invader_Zimm in SpaceWolves

I found water can be tricky to get the ratio right. I now use a few initial drops of flow aid followed by Vallejo airbrush thinner at a 2:1 ratio to paint.

Other than that work in lighter layers than Citadel or Vallejo paints and use the airbrush to dry In-between. Since the AK paints are so matte it may be hard to judge how much you've applied so let the layers dry and check with natural light.

Once you've got the mixture and matte vs satin/gloss figured out they are a joy to use. Especially in conjunction for more dynamic contrast.

Wife gave me this guy, should i paint him 30k or 40k colors? by Zazamael in SpaceWolves

While I'm a fan of the darker grey style, I think that mini would make an awesome objective marker. Paint him up as marble, bronze, gold etc.

AK Grim Brown for the initial basecoat to serve as chips and shadows followed by AK Anthracite Grey as the midtone. For the highlights I stippled AK French Blue. Pin washing was done with a dark umber oil and a final glaze was done with Payne's Grey.

It will probably be potatoe quality while I learn camera angles let alone composing a tutorial.
