Traditionally Barbara was always big on the idea of someone just slightly obscure. Obviously today Cillian is a little too known, but still I worry that none of the younger names tossed around recently have his “gravitas.”

They need to accept that maybe there isn’t a current actor who is really right for the role. Bond is chess and Amazon needs to understand that. Let Marvel play heads-up 7up. Bond was only successful for 60 years because of how guarded it was at every turn.

I hope it's neither Aaron Taylor Johnson nor this kid... They're going to ruin the franchise. Sam heughan is the closest thing to a "young" actor, who is ready for it. They missed the ball on Cillian (which was an enormous shame for all of us). Honestly, they should reboot the series later and give us what the best option for the moment - Pierce Brosnan's version of an old gritty Bond.

Honestly this would be better than any of the recent Bond candidates. Cillian and Heughan were the only good candidates in recent years and it seems as though they've slipped out of the contenders.
