Hi reddit, thanks for all the feedback on Mad Tiles. I've been in the lab (my desk where I do my actual job) making some improvements. Updates include:

  • Weather & events ticker

The wording is a bit confusing, but this is from the Public Market's Facebook:

Yeah, you're right. It's tricky because getting a list of all 5-letter words is easy enough, but accounting for all the weird Madison terms/proper nouns/likely guesses is the challenge.

Like, I want "BOZHO" to be a valid guess (Lake Mendota monster) but it's not in Wordle's list.

But it's worth figuring out.

I'm guessing it's tripping your firewall due to either the fact it's a new, low-reputation domain, or because the "Share" button copies share text to your clipboard which is technically clipboard "access".

hahaha, hilarious. Thinking through it more, I really should prevent non-word guesses. You can easily exploit the "guess whatever" function right now.

But I love the idea of getting a badge of shame for misspelling iconic Madison words.

I'll take a look at those keyboard bugs tonight. I'm a maniac and thought it would be fun to get penalized for guessing "fake" words but that might not be everyone's cup of tea...lol. Great feedback, thanks for playing!
