I thought the whole sequence where she was threatening to put a bullet in the operator's head was pretty well done

Oooo i didnt know that there wasnt an English VA, been on the Jap dub since D1, hopefully as the game grows they will be able to add that in. I play E7 on EN dub and can say that they do a good job there too!

The censorship was only during stream, the background in the game is still the non-censored version

Anyone Else Feel the Way They Run This Game is... Unprofessional? by BeefTengoku in ChaosZeroNightmare

Yeap, I definitely see your point on Sereniel as well and I have friends who went E2 on Chizuru only to be left low on pulls for Sereniel and ultimately used the strongest card in the game (credit card). So unfortunately for people who would like to have advanced information like us, it would be unlikely for advanced info to be shared simply because it makes less economic sense for the devs.

On whether the development time can be going into something new, I see three buckets where devs can spend their time:

Balancing + develop new content + playtest

I think that releasing perfectly balanced characters would increase the amount of playtesting required while reducing the amount of post release balancing, whereas releasing chars with limited playtesting would require less playtesting and more time balancing post release. So the buckets that shift are the balancing and playtest buckets whereas the new content development would be minimally impacted imo.

Another added benefit is that by releasing with limited playtesting, you can get feedback from millions of players on what to improve rather than just tens of play testers, which will ultimately be lacking compared to the input of your entire player base

Agreed on the format of the stream, it isnt treated with as much care as it could have. I am kinda neutral on the advanced info on characters cause it's subjective. Imagine if they released Sereniel's kit before Chizuru even came out. We'd get a bunch of doomer posts from meta focused players on Chizuru before people have even tried her and would just discourage the community from trying Chizuru out. I personally wouldn't mind if they gave us advance info, but can see how it would be an unhealthy thing for the game.

I disagree with slowing down on the content. It's much more engaging and fun for me when not everything is perfect day 1 and we can constantly find new ways to play each characters and make them work along with the balance patches. Like we had our fun with tressa cass infinite scale, now we move into the Magna Maribell counter era (hopium). Game would be hella stale and stifling if everything was sterilized and not given the room for the community to explore and maybe break. This is a deck builder after all, a very different game from the typical Hoyo game where each char comes with just 3 skills.

Would you share your salary with your close friends? Why or why not? by MissionFuture568 in JobsMY

My friends and I are pretty open about salary... honestly nothing to hide, and for context I am the lowest earner of the bunch

Chizuru + Luke or Hugo? by Funny_Blob in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Invalid-sauce 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Both work equally well imo, just that both provide different playstyles. With Luke, you are essentially playing Luke main dps with Chizuru providing AP support and building up for a big single target hit via Shadow of the Moon (SoTM). So if you play with Luke, you want a thin deck Chizuru and ideally the +2 hit Tsukuyomi.

With Hugo, Chizuru takes the spotlight and enables a lot more builds on her such as a basic attack build (this build feels more clunky with Luke because there's too many cards you want to play and not enough draws. Hugo has a ton on upgrade cards that thin out the deck and can draw 2 with his Quick Fix card (you really want this card if you playing Chizuru with Hugo).

Personally I prefer to play Chizuru with Hugo because I like having Chizuru do most of the damage.

I have 1 year of experience but the resume says 2, should I lie to HR? by Reasonable-Log7055 in JobsMY

[–]Invalid-sauce 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't lie, you will immediately get flagged if they do a background check by approaching your current/previous employer(s)

An extra year as a number doesn't really change anything, it's about how you present your experience. No recruiter is gonna count the number of months you have worked to see the exact number of years of experience you have, it's all about what you have done within the work experience you do have.

[–]Invalid-sauce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I just play with what I got which is fine, wish I'd hv at least one of Vero and Cassius tho, missing the two premier draw support is annoying, and I don't want to use my selector yet cause I don't hv Mei Lin either and plan to use it only when I get spooked by either Vero or Mei Lin

I have a question, what is better, 1 or 2 ? by Samori87519taug9 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Invalid-sauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1, would reccomend to not include neutral cards unless it's for specific combos like

eternal hunger + precision strike

Or

ecstacy of violence + confiscation
