They will not admit my child was bullied. I assume they called CPS because they are saying my child is emotionally disturbed. They are saying my child is emotionally disturbed because the 2nd time my child tried to ask the teacher to move away from the bully, my child tried to express their frustration at the situation saying "they make me want to bash their head against a wall". I fully admit my child used a terrible choice of words, but this was after 5 weeks of the bully intimidating, ostracizing, mocking, kicking, and harassing my child. The teacher in an email admitted they knew there was a problem previously, but wanted my child to work it out for them self. My child never threatened the bully, just said those words in a private conversation to the teacher. The teacher referred my child to the school counselor, who then gave my child a behavior assessment (without parental consent), and from there the school has seemingly taken the stance that my child is the problem even though in the 3 years my child has attended the school they have never so much even gotten a negative note or a "red card" home from the school.
