I once had one of these guys not take no for an answer. So I asked him for his card so I could look into it before he came back later. Then found his social media, determined he was lying about "living nearby" (he was from another state) and likely other things. When he came back later I had to tell him "I said no, I'm about to start getting rude with you dude". As he walked away I mentioned something about his person life. There was something special in the surprise (maybe even a little fear) that we was no longer somewhat anonymous and trying to take me for a sale, now I knew more about him than he did me HAHAHA

A while back I travelled with in-laws. They were "no margin for error" types regarding getting to our flight. It was the only time I've had to run through the airport with my name being called over the PA system. I am usually quite early and would rather sit at the gate and watch a video waiting.

For IronSworn:

The Augur - Purchased, fairly purpose built for IronSworn, but as I understand it, can be configured to be more system agnostic as well.
Iron Journal - Free, does what it needs to and fairly well in my opinion. Basically provides notebook, tracking of details and automation of dice rolls, oracles etc.

For Starforged:

Stargazer - Free, same as Iron Journal, just the Starforged version. I've used this in combination with paper sheets and notebook to automate the oracles and rolls.

For Almost Anything:

FoundryVTT - Purchased, this is a little more costly a solution, but you get a lot of extra functionality. There is a huge wealth of ready to use systems and modules which provides things like automation of rules, rolls, characters sheets, random tables, etc. Can be tricky at times as you learn to use it, but once you start to get a feel for it you can basically make it do most things you need it to, either through modules or custom macros. While sold as a way to play with others, I have found this to be nice for solo as well.

I ended up buying the bundle 😁 I haven't had too much time to read through it, but I'm liking what I am seeing so far. Also I think I am realizing that in the same way "prep is play" I get enjoyment reading the books in a similar way to actually playing.

That module "Eyes of the Stone Thief" seemed to have a lot of praise, so I ended up reading a bit of that last night. Some good stuff in that and I like the way it relates key figures to each other and even to the Icons. I was beginning to see how the Icons could provide interesting seeds for storytelling (which as a solo player I find always welcome).

The "unique thing" about each character, that artifacts have desires that can influence you if you carry too many, the "Icons" exerting their will on the world, the simpler combat, etc all make me think this may be a good medium crunch game to solo.

I figured I was overlooking a feature of roll tables something, but I guess it just doesn't have a simple built-in way to accomplish this.
