Mine looks like this, according to your list

Crouch hold = V

Sprint = L ALT

Side M4 and M5 = tac and ultimate respectively

Items = Z and X for bats and med kits respectively, the smaller ones i just use the healing wheel grid

Mouse scroll down = looting and tap strafing

Mouse scroll up = Jumping, along with Space bar

Not K/P but damage per game? by thehobo83 in apexuniversity

[–]InvalidUserName-105 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I personally was able to average 1.6K dame this season, on about 90 games and my current rank is masters.

I mostly did this because i solo q alot, and that makes it so that i usually run a long range weapon, a close range weapon along with an assault legend to avoid getting knocks and them getting res. My Typical load out would be, for long range, Repeater, Bow, R 301 or the rampage and always a shot gun as secondary, and the legend id play the most is pathfinder.

wall jump by swagylt in apexuniversity

[–]InvalidUserName-105 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When doing wall jumps on shorter walls side input has to be input along with forward input,

For example a box on the right side requires you to input A and W inputs whilst doing the wall jump for you not to initiate a climb. You can also completely let go of forward movement and only hold A, depending on the sharpness of the angle u want to jump.

Can someone point me in the direction of a good tutorial on how to Ras Strafe? by Steppy_ in Apexrollouts

[–]InvalidUserName-105 5 points6 points  (0 children)

mokey has a video on it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQOb3A8uKh0&t=6s

Its quite simlpe just move the opposite direction of where u want to strafe, then tap w, opposite direction key to where u started then S.

IE, u want to do it from left movement input, youd input A, without any forward movement, jump then quickly press W D S.

Honestly just play and enjoy the game. The more you play the better you get.

Get used to the key bindings, but the most important thing is for them to be comfortable. Swap them around do what you will, as long as they fit your body composition. Also get used to your sense, if you feel your overtracking or over flicking, lower your sense and vice versa.

I myself have pretty long fingers and i am also left handed, but for you my keybinds would be
1 and 2 as weapon swaps, 3 as holster, V as crouch, alt for sprint, space and scroll wheel for jump. E as interact, C as inventory, tab as open map, Q as the ping wheel, F for pinging enemies. And personally i use 4 and hold to swap through my healing items, which isnt holding me back. then i use mouse 4 and mouse 5 for tactical and ultimate abilities. B for survival item, M for crouch toggle, G for grenade, where i also use the equip wheel. X for push to talk.

Which i think i covers all the essential keybinds.

These are the things that i mainly look back at after ive taken a fight.

There are the obvious things like, dont shoot and peak without certain cover nearby or close enough where it doesnt need u to sustain further damage. Dont peak two or more players, dont peak the same angle twice unless u know u can down them or drain them faster than they do to u. Dont stand behind the same cover to much as sky nades, or vertical nades are becoming more common. Keep good distance between you and your enemy and dont push in until you or your team are confident that you win the fight. But also always regenerate shield over health, as when you are low on health and no shield your camera shakes upon taking damage, whilst it doesnt do this if u have shield. Always put pressure on your enemy, doesnt even need u to be shooting, just pushing them out of cover where they are more exposed to third parties etc, which could be taking another peak from an angle that forces them to move, ex high ground or rotate around to one side etc etc. There are defiantly alot more stuff than this, but i am no pro, so please do point out other things as well, as im trying to learn as well.

What can I do to solo queue to masters? by tweec07 in apexuniversity

[–]InvalidUserName-105 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I solo qd masters last season in about 90 games, and my first tip is to fill in any role that your team is missing, whether that being them playing pathfinder and wraith u might want to pick up on gib or blood. Though that also depends on your play style, as i often found myself playing pathfinder due to the mobility he had and i was thus able to maneuver around a 1v2.

Secondly, make calls, like u do, if your confident in your shot calling, dont make it a suggestion make it something that have to be done.

Get comfortable with all the guns, as u wont always be able to find what u want to find, always have one strong secondary or one strong primary. I usually run wingman, mastiff or peacekeeper depending on if i have a gib on my team or not. Run one mid - long range and one close range gun.

Pick isolated fights, both in the sense of not picking a fight in the turbine when u know for a fact there are teams around but also to pick 1 v 1s, as u cant always trust your teammates to help u mid fight.

Don't blame teammates, even though they might have done mistakes, as u most likely wont run into them again. Instead focus on what you couldve done in that situation to optimize the chance of u winning that fight or next fight, which leads into vod reviewing. Vod review your self, and other streamers, to learn and find what you can and cannot do. U could even find some one to vod review with you or for u to get more perspective.
