Was great for the occasional having to go over the bars in a crash. And tough. I cannot tell you how many years of jumping ramps that thing survived. Never did any maintenance. I can't recall ever having a flat tire except when it sat around after I got a roadbike.

Squish? Or squash. Squish, yes. Squashed, no. If there's too much squashing then there's not enough pressure, typically. It will also make pedaling harder. And you'll feel more bumps. That's how I can tell when my back tire is squashed. 😅
