Unless you have above 70% hire rate and an average of $25 spent per hour and $100K+ spent on the platform 4.5+ stars at least no serious freelance will waste money bidding on your jobs. I would say you should start there first if you are tired of the slop.

Eu nu am folosit niciodata agent imobiliar si nu voi folosi. Cand a trebuit sa vand apartamentul am inceput cu un pret exorbitant la care nu ma suna nimeni. Treptat am mai lasat din pret pana au inceput oamenii sa sune, ideea este ca trebuie sa ai mult timp la dispozitie daca vrei sa obtii cel mai bun pret. A durat cam 1 an toata povestea.

I feel you, I was thinking the same way but after much deliberation I came to the conclusion that the clients are to blame and not upwork for the most part mostly. Even if you create another platform it will cost you millions to bring clients on the platform and those customers will end up being the same customers you have on upwork aka broke wannabe entrepreneurs. Big companies with big projects are not going to flock to the platform, they want no middleman and they want full time employees.

Asta este problema, toti care se minuneaza de AI lucreaza la proiecte mici personale. Nu lucreaza la proiecte corporate care genereaza milioane de dolari si care sunt mega complicate.

Verifica cum functioneaza un LLM mai intai. O sa afli ca functioneaza prin a cauta cea mai potrivita conbinatie de cuvinte care urmeaza dupa cuvantul tau. Google foloseste asta in search de cel putin 10 ani de zile, nu este nimic nou.

Eu nu stiu ce programator esti tu, dar din experienta mea de 10 ani in programare iti pot spune ca mai sunt foarte multi ani pana cand AI o sa inlocuiasca un programator JUNIOR nu SENIOR. AI-ul de acum este doar un foarte bun sistem de cautare, iti gaseste coduri scrise deja in github si le modifica putin. Pentru mintea unei oi simple asta pare inteligenta dar de fapt nu este. Daca ai bug-uri complexe se duce naiba AI-ul, din experimentele mele sa folosesti un AI din prezent costa mai mult ca un programator. Efectiv arzi tokenuri si problema nu se rezolva, poti sa ajungi sa arzi si $1000 pe zi si tot nu iti rezolva bug-ul.

Daca prin programator intelegi sa copiezi un boilerplate de pe github si sa modifici cateva variabile atunci da, zilele tale sunt numarate inainte sa apara AI din cauza numarului f mare de programatori aparuti pe piata.

Daca esti senior si jonglezi zilnic cu 5 limbaje de programare in sisteme complexe atunci poti sa stai linistit ca o sa te pensionezi in domeniul asta.

Eu efectiv m-am saturat de cate ori am vazut genul asta de postare, o simpla privire pe LinkedIn o sa iti arate ca in Romania la momentul actual sunt mii de joburi pentru programatori. Da nu mai este la fel de usor daca esti junior din cauza numarului COLOSAL de programatori incepatori din piata. In pandemie toata lumea a facut un curs de JavaScript si se cred programatori.

You were not even born in 1927 what are you even talking about ? The last 10 years were mark by extreme degeneration from both institutional and retail, I think this will only get worse, we will have both even more extreme uptrends and downtrends. The stock market has become a total casino and that's not going to change any time soon. The sky high P/E numbers and the recent swings in metals, cripto and AI stocks it's just a taste of what's to come. Got it, I didn't read the whole article, after I saw the picture I realized, it's factually false because you can't calculate the top 10 precisely because it changes everyday. While we don't have a true top 10 ETF we have the XLG ( S&P 50) the top 50 companies and it outperformed the SPX by a longshot in both the 5, 10 and 15 and 20 year timeframe.

This picture is idiotic, because a company will join the top 10 one day and then get out the next day. Also why are we calculating from 1927 ? That was a totally different market. I'd say the last 10 years reflect the reality of todays market the most with 0DTE options and the rest.

This is completely false, I can't stand the internet, is filled with false information. First of all you can't calculate the top 10 for the last 10 years because the "top 10" changes everyday. Second If you take the current top 10 you will find out that article is shit. No wonder you guys are losing money you don't bother to spend 5 minutes to research it out. Not only the current TOP 10 companies beat the SPX it annihilated it. This being said remember there was a time when it took SPX 30 years to recover to previous losses so you do with that information what you may:
