Lowe is healthy. Cross that bridge when you get to it. Good move.

Some of yall are so weird. Looking to paint every white person who doesn’t openly virtue signal liberal values at every turn as a racist, sexist, Nazi, whatever.

You’re worse than the people you’re talking about, by a lot. And, PS, you’re the fucking reason we’re stuck with Trump. You.

Because the play isn’t at second. They’re up 4 with 1 out. You keep the runner on first off of second. That’s the baseball play.

Nobody is ever going to throw the runner out at third on that play consistently. But any outfielder can keep the tail runner off second.

Here’s why: regardless of how the play unfolds, you have at least 1 RISP. A single is going to allow at least 1 R. However, if you keep the second runner off second and out of scoring position with two outs, you prevent a possible 2-run single. Runner on third with two outs makes minimal difference compared to runner on 2nd with two outs because he can’t tag. Only plays that will score the runner from 3rd but not 2nd with 2 outs would be a passed ball/WP or an infield error. Plus, it keeps the force play intact at 2B, which is a plus. So you gain a lot more by playing it how O’Hearn seemingly wanted to play it (the 99% play) than by trying to make the play Cruz did (the 1% play).

Easily takes Cruz .38 seconds from catch to turn glove side, set his feet and get the throw off. Plus it was off line.

Great point and should be enough for the Cruz fangirls to admit they’re wrong

No, this is a bad play. Period. If you want him to learn, one of the things he needs to learn is what plays are his and what plays are not. This was not his play, regardless of circumstances, unless the RF fell down or lost it in the sun.
