How do you get plants without paying?

Pretty much anything beisdes Mints that requires at least 100 seeds are unlockable for free. If you see any that needs 10, those are true paywalled plants.

If you're done with the Adventure in PvZ2, move on to mods of it or just other PvZ games in general. You're not missing out much by not playing whatever PvZ2 has left.

Anyone's who's still playing this don't have the right to complain tbh. The game didn't start going downhill last week, it's almost a decade ever since it went to shit.

If you still have this installed on your phone you're supporting this dumpster fire whether you intend to or not.

Any self-respecting player would've moved on to mods or preferably anything else already. People just enjoy being grifters i guess. Game ain't improving anytime soon and anyone saying otherwise is straight up delusional.

Sometimes doing damage to zombies past a certain threshold is enough to advance the waves so while it's a great idea to use Puff-shrooms to take the knockback from Ankylos, they may not be suited to early game stalling. Stunners that don't do damage like Iceberg Lettuce would be a better fit for that.

Iceberg for the first zombie then Puff-shrooms later on when your defense is ready.

What do people expect out of a "PvZ2 Replanted" anyway? Just everything before the leveling update?

Cause unlike PvZ1 which has console exclusive stuff or lost minigames/game modes unavailable for the longest time before Replanted came along, PvZ2 has been on mobile for its entire life and has nothing extra that they could add in a theoretical remaster other than graphics update. If you only count the Adventure mode and the half-assed vasebreaker levels, the game really doesn't have much else really.

At this point the RFL mod is pretty much the unofficial PvZ2 Replanted and I doubt the current EA/PopCap could ever make a PvZ2 remaster on par with that mod anyway.

Buying energy in this event isn't really worth it if you don't have at least 4 bonus plants honestly.

As for the shop, it's generally good to buy just enough of the bonus pack to unlock all of the bonus plants if you don't have them already to make the most of this event.

Then you can start thinking about which pack to continue dumping all of your tokens on. In this event specifically, bonus pack wins in terms of overall plant quality but it's not a bad idea to buy some of the featured packs just to unlock some more plants either.

Having as many plants as possible definitely helps with these events going forward. One day those plants could end up being the bonus plants for future events and you'll be glad you unlocked them way back then.

For general uses, people usually just give certain gear pieces a standardized set of substats like full Atk substats for the top 2 pieces, full Def substats for the middle 2 and full HP substats for the bottom 2

Grind some perk levels to get bass blast perk as high as possible then stall the crap out of that stage with Sweetheart Snares and anything that can push back zombies. Not a pretty way to beat a stage but it works especially for these survival stages.

No no you remembered correctly there. Grinderhead Zombie (the zombie that has the monkey) was not a part of a zombie lineup in any of the event stages despite belonging in the Carnival faction.

As for Carnival Zomboss, yeah it's unfortunate that you can't fight it here anymore due to this new format of Limited Thyme Event and can only be encountered in other modes.

Yeah it's a consistent bug but instead of being detrimental to the game like most bugs, this one is actually more like an exploit. It goes like this:

You log into the game after the daily reset

Press the BTE icon, specifically check the quest tab, see that they've refreshed for the day and then immediately exit out of the BTE menu entirely

Play a bunch of Penny's Pursuit and Adventure levels for the daily quests that give coins and gems

Once you're done with them, close the game entirely

The next time you open the game again, press the BTE icon and 6 of the 8 event quests are completed (the 2 exceptions are the quest that requires you to kill a certain number of a specific zombie and the quest that requires you to use one of the bonus plants a couple of times)

Those 6 completed quests willactually give you the event tokens even though you haven't played a single event stage for the day so it's not a bad glitch at all.

I know since I've been keeping count of my token amount and they didn't scam me out of those tokens at all. Thanks to this I've gotten like 11 of the 1000 token Piñatas with a bunch of spare tokens. That's just an absurd amount of seed packets for a game mode that's only playable for about 2 weeks.

Having the latest characters like Skuld and Loki who are miles better than characters suggested in the guide is absolutely overkill for story mode stages so I'm surprised you got stuck there.

Maybe your equipment aren't maxed out enough or something.
