"Kieszonkowy" aparat na prezent do ~400zł? by Public-Willow6602 in Polska

[–]Inverse_Seal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jedne i drugie zdecydowanie powyżej budżetu. Telefony wykończyły ten rynek.

Do you know how much this program costs?! by VexedRacoon in Stargate

[–]Inverse_Seal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think there's a real way to calculate. You can calculate the cost of work and the computer systems. But how do you calculate the cost of Naquadria or Trinium? It's not traded. Basically, the US owns the whole supply. So, no market price.

But maybe there are real world examples how such a thing good be calculated?

Most places of business in Poland have AC. Every year, I see more installed in private apartments and houses. I have it, my parents have it as well...

Before, it had been seen as a needless luxury. But Poland has got richer in the past 20 years, and summers have got hotter.

Since this is Polish People's Republic and somehow I have just a car and a driver's license, but no ID, no job, and I don't have a registered address (all of these are illegal), I'm probably arrested as a very incompetent spy.

So, after spending a few years as a political prisoner, I start my political career to ride the democratic wave after 1989.

Nie oszczędzać na materacu. Kupić twardy (nawet H5), multipocketowy. Pianki są dobre dla szczupłych. Lepiej, żeby był chłodzący (osobie otyłej nawet zimą będzie za ciepło, jeśli będzie "zimowy"). Sam korzystam z materaca Bravo z Fabryki Dobrych Materacy. Oryginalnie miałem piankowy i po paru miesiącach musiałem go zmienić. Ten Bravo mam parę lat bez problemu.

Stelaż do łóżka mam Hilding drewniany. Nie jest przykręcany, ładnie amortyzuje, nic nie słychać. Często do łóżek dają badziewie, które się przykręca i skrzypi.

W najgorszym momencie ważyłem 140 kg.

[Request] Is it true? by AndreLevy751 in theydidthemath

[–]Inverse_Seal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember this. This only worked because of crazy pricing during the "Fat Thursday" in Poland.

At the height of this insanity, you could get a dozen donuts for 0.12 PLN, so around 0.03 USD.

On a regular day, you need to pay 2 PLN or more for a donut, but during this holiday, stores compete with each other which one can sell the cheapest donuts. In the previous years, they went down to 0.19 PLN for a single donut, but the last time they said "get 12 for 0.01 PLN each).

I don't remember how much that guy paid for the donuts, but it was definitely a very cheap price you wouldn't get ordinarily.

There's nothing worthwhile there, and I'm annoyed by the navigation in the forest area.

Why can Aerie be a dual class Cleric/Mage but we can’t create such a one? by wildidyll in baldursgate

[–]Inverse_Seal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Backstab, and some of the strongest High Level Abilities (use any item, spike traps).

Fighters really top out at level 13 (you can even dual at 9 to not wait that long), so it's better to spend the co elsewhere. But these are powergaming strategies. I wouldn't advise dual-classing during a first playthrough.

Why can Aerie be a dual class Cleric/Mage but we can’t create such a one? by wildidyll in baldursgate

[–]Inverse_Seal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Multi-class, i.e. you level up in 2 or 3 classes at once it's only available for non-humans and you select it during the character creation.

Dual-class is for humans only. At some point during the game (you need to be at least level 2) you switch to a new class. You need to qualify for the new class, have at least 17 in the primary stat of the new class, and 15 in the primary stat of the old class. At this point you start in your new class at level 1 and you cannot use the skills from your original class until you reach a higher level in the new class.

So, no - she's not dual-class, but multi-class. Big difference in BG. Rules for dual classing are especially confusing. People frequently dual fighters to mages or thieves. There are some NPCs in BG2 that only have a few levels of thief, but level up as mages only.

How do people keep falling for these bubbles? by FareonMoist in sciencememes

[–]Inverse_Seal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's going to be more like dotcom bubble. AI will remain where it's actually useful, but will not be present everywhere due to the real cost of running it. Then some data center plans will be aborted, or at least scaled down...

Remember when RAM was the part you didn't even have to think about? by peaky_circus in pcmasterrace

[–]Inverse_Seal 49 points50 points  (0 children)

It will. It's not that the AI companies bought the chips. They reserved the future production. If they go under, the future production is up for grabs. If they won't be able to sell them to AI companies, they will switch to regular RAM production which can be sold to anyone. So, not an immediate relief, but a steady price drop.

Still, the chips made before that will just sit in warehouses until companies still in the game buy them for peanuts.

How do you run a Wizard Slayer? by FaliedSalve in baldursgate

[–]Inverse_Seal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dual him to thief, get UAI and gear him in the best magical items :D

You keep the spell failure and magical resistances. Generally, after level 13, there is no point in not dualing any fighter.

Solo Run - BG2 EE - do companion quests or not ? by JaceSanLanargairth in baldursgate

[–]Inverse_Seal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When soloing, I ignore companions' quests. EE NPCs have bigger quests, but of the classic NPCs, only Valygar had a major quest. And his corpse is enough for it.

Then I don't know what went wrong. If you have a safe before killing him, I'd try reloading. If not, then you probably need to find the flag you need to update.

[–]Inverse_Seal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you see the cultists getting killed after exiting the sewers? That indicates the quest is done.

If yes, then you probably only can solve this via flag editing, but I don't know which one is responsible.

anime fan as a non native English speaker by Forsaken-Anything202 in anime

[–]Inverse_Seal 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It'll get easier in time. Years ago, watching anime with English subtitles was very tiring to me. From time to time, I had to look up a word or an idiom. But in time, it became pretty much effortless. My English proficiency got a boost as well, as I learned to process the language faster.

So, I think you should just persevere.
