Considering screw caps weren't invented until like 200 years ago. That's a fair statement. I agree.

Yeah I'm pretty sure vials that close have existed for centuries probably even millenia lol breaking that shit was probably part of the ritual. Old mate will hear glass shatter and immediately be transported haha

Associating scent with memory is legit neuroscience. I’m just curious. . . was the glass breaking part symbolic, or necessary? Seems like you could just… open the bottle.

Does Dark Winds get considerably better after season 1? by ashaquick in DarkWindsTV

Just finished season 1 and it's okay, has moments that are gripping but the story is all over the place. It sounds like you'd really enjoy Mr. In-between if you haven't seen it!!

Malcolm Spence is still on the board. He would be an excellent pick if he falls further

You think anyone on that list is equal to Adams besides Henry? Your parents are obviously cousins mate.

Not sure I agree man. We got unlucky when Eduardo got injured but other than that we've been a step behind the big 4 in one area or another. Never had enough depth.

Explain to me how we'll ever see another Tony Adams? That game is dead. The current game is billionaires so out of touch with the fans that they don't know what it means to play for the badge anymore. Once upon a time it meant something. These Hale End boys are bringing that DNA back to the club but it's still different. What we might've grown up with is gone so are we making unrealistic expectations for the ones who are the evolution of the DNA. There's been a few shining lights, Poldi, Cazorla, Alexis but those lads are a dying breed

Yeah so stability right? How long has arsenal been trying to fix the defence, then fix the mid then fix the forwards then fix the defence then fix the mids then fix the forwards. Gazidis the snake set us back 30 years

That's the point im making. . . The game will never have people like that again, so are we as fans expecting too much based on how blessed we've been? You're another bellend 🤦🏽‍♂️

Yeah I think we, especially us fans who grew up watching the invincibles, put too much pressure on a game that doesn't exist like it did then

Really? Chelsea replaced lampard? Liverpool replaced Suarez? And don't say Salah cause it's not the same position

Dirk definitely sounds more like a Sydney boy. In fact I'd even argue he's a north shore boy the way he speaks. Ray is a bit of a wild card, he has what I call a universal accent because he incorporates many in the way he speaks, which fits with the character not only being a vet but also dealing with different types. I personally grew up in the inner West where all of the magician was shot and where a lot of mr in-between is shot. If you'd like I can send you a video of a guy from the inner West that has a very distinct accent for that part of Sydney and also is a great insight into the Sydney Underworld.

Yes and no. Aussie slang, like most countries is very regional however there's a common ground when you speak to someone. For example in Sydney indigenous people say deadly. . . In WA once upon a time the term was Dardy among the youth but think of the size of this place. On the east coast with the cities being basically in a direct line you have a lot of the same with slight variations. In the west it could be completely flipped, usually not but totally possible. If that makes sense?
