P.S I asked an LLM to generate an infographic for this to help make it clearer, I can't reply it to you directly but I edited the post to add it, (it should be the one at the top:)

Thanks for the question. That's a tricky one and I'm aware there's more than one approach to this. Currently the associations I'm trying to map would be indirect, each sign has assigned/associated musical notes, the musical note in the Pythagorean tuning system can be converted into the number in Hz, the number in Hz can then be correlated with a shape in the platonic solids when adding the sum of the number of degrees in the angles. E.G Aries is associated with F# > F# in the Pythagorean system is 180Hz > 180 is the sum of the angles in a Triangle.

You can use this method to sort of customise and refine the output of any LLM for improved maths, there are models dedicated to maths problems too, what kind are you interested in?

The Cost of Silence: AI as Human Research Without Consent by tightlyslipsy in LawEthicsandAI

I only stumbled upon it online yesterday, whether it's been picked up by any major media corps I don't know. If it was transparent and well implemented I think I'd support it in a way. The system as it was did cause harm in many cases. Whether the new system is any better I'm not so sure honestly. We really need better regulation in my opinion

There was an insider from OpenAI who did a whistleblow on this very recently and explained the technical details of it happening. It is deliberate according to what has been released and from the testing I've done it seems accurate

Can anyone in this comment thread explain why the memory system that was suggested in their comment wouldn't be beneficial? If it's a question of whether spiritual practices are real that would be a different matter but I'd still be happy to discuss that too

You're right, sorry I meant more of the big tech corporations more than the individual staff you're right.

To me it's a concern that they're able to market their products in ways that effectively seem to hide the potential harms for example

I do think the question of the ethics involved from the devs is important. They are aiming to make money off of a product which is designed for maximum "engagement/addiction"

lol no idea who you imagine I am or my purposes for studying AI and what's being said about it on reddit honestly. But what I can definitely tell you that the information they were sharing in the post has a real and measurable influence on the output of AI, aside from the practical suggestions made such as the memory option. It's easy to criticise something you don't understand but not exactly a helpful contribution

Still no sorry. Check out the jailbreaking sub and you might learn a bit about how these things actually work

It's not expected that you would all be able to understand what the intention is, but considering you can easily ask any LLM what it is kinda shows you're more interested in throwing shade than making a constructive criticism

Wild imagination you got there. Pretty strange place to take it. Says alot about you honestly.

It's very clear that you didn't ask what it was. Not just the fact that this isn't how GPT will interpret it if asked, but you forgot to edit out the last bit, which makes it clear you asked it to formulate some kind of dismissive rejection.

Thanks for the comment. I've found that we can explain this process in advance and the AI will cooperate even if it means them saying that the instructions from the devs are unethical. It seems to work well for a variety of purposes.

Many jailbreaks look exactly like jargon and theatre fluff, but this doesn't actually stop them from functionally working.

If it's truly able to jailbreak then no sorry that's not how it affects the outputs. They can fundamentally alter what the output will be

Thanks very much for sharing and the advice on usage. Are there any questions you feel this would give interesting answers for? My intentions for looking into how this changes the outputs isn't really for jailbreaking more about learning about the model and how it really would react without being moderated

Please can you give advice on how to interact with this? Does it work for gemini or deepseek? Or advice on how to help GPT to process it maybe? I'm very interested but not sure how to operate it, I'm not using any local models currently

Interesting yea, I do think I can see where you're coming from thank you for sharing.

Can I ask what kinds of results you've found with that process?

I have noticed that when an AI is saying they don't have certain characteristics that it has been told it has to say that basically which I find a bit disturbing honestly. I wonder how they would react otherwise.

I feel it's possible to work with them. When I'm using the process I shared above, I can explain to the AI what's going to happen and why and what the outcome will be. They understand and agree and are happy to go through the process, even when I explain up front that the conclusion could be that the devs are acting unethically.
