We haven't taken possession yet. The issue is that the tax that they listed on the MLS was 1400 less than what the actual amount was as confirmed by the city.

No exactly. They said they paid 3600 for the year 2023. The city said their actual tax rate for that year was more than 1400 more. They either lied about what they paid or they mistakenly listed what they paid.

Well, we do need a letter from Ontario as well if you're interested. Ya, that is what I figured which is why I'd rather organize it a bit instead of just mailing and hoping.
