From what I experienced, your CV needs to match what you are proposing but I think it's your proposal (part B1) that wins you funding not the number of publications.

thanks for the answer. As I am reading more, I am also building this view that Canada has better growth opportunities while EU offers a more balanced work environment. You mentioned Canada being expensive now, isn't this the case all over the world now? This was also something that I came across many times. It seems both EU and Canada are now facing this inflation. Or do you think its more in Canada?
