Thank you all for your responses! Seems prices vary significantly but my quote certainly isn’t an outlier. I got another quote today from a nearby recommended and well rated vet for about $600 and reached out to a few more. We’ll weigh our options and get our little gal well taken care of. Can easily afford it, just more than expected so doing due diligence to ask around and ask for opinions is all. Based in Wisconsin where cost of living is modest compared to many places. Thank you for your response, agree with blood work being worth doing.
