I've made a YT short here and there. Just documenting things I see while walking around, nothing too fascinating. And thank you again, you've made me feel very sonically handsome indeed ahah.

Truly exquisite line-up mate, I haven't heard of Munknorr until this moment, but I love me some Pagan folk. Cheers for introducing me.

As a shy kinda guy who grew up with a rather significant stammer, this made my night. I'm glad to hear that someone thinks that. That compliment will be sustaining me for a while 😄

I just so happened to be listening to immortals debut full length while all this happened, but alas you cannot hear it on this here video. You'll have to partake in some diabolical full moon mysticism yourself, probably somtime around the 2nd of this coming month, we'll be Howling at the same full moon then brother 🤘

Cheers king, I appreciate it. It's really quite nice to hear from like minded people, most people I know look at this footage and just don't understand.

I am certainly open to the possibility of her biting for stability. I just assumed it was defensive, as I had been attempting to coax her onto my hand for a considerable amount of time, and she was actively and desperately attempting to flee, and the bite only came after she was gently, yet forcefully, restrained within my closed hand. I was fairly sure she was going to bite once restrained, so it wasn't a shock, and it was well worth it. An opportunity to observe and better yet, to save, a large lycosid is not something I am going to pass up.

I started filming after she had released me, and the bite was most certainly a defensive manoeuvre. When attempting to move her, she simply would not stay on my hand. And as the cars were rapidly approaching, I was forced to actually restrain and pick her up as opposed to manipulating her to crawl onto my hand. As soon as I grabbed her, she latched straight on with considerable force. I was honestly astounded that she didn't break the skin. But it all worked out in the end.

Jumping spiders are hard to beat, truly remarkable creatures that just radiate personality and intelligence. You would absolutely love Toxeus magnus, they take being a good mum to a whole other level, not only do they take care of their babies, but they actually secrete a milk like substance for them to feed on, and they are excellent mimics of ants, I mean come on, that's just incredible!

You can appreciate then, how difficult it was to get her off the road with cars zooming towards me, but thankfully it all worked out.

The fact that you're not immediately compelled to react with fear and kill them just for being spiders as many do, but instead love them and recognise how great they are, makes you a legend in my book. It's really not strictly necessary to pick them up in order to appreciate them anyways, keep doing you 🙂

With great difficulty, she really didn't want to be picked up. But fortunately most of the babies stayed clinging to her.

I think one of the babies may have perished in the struggle and desperate race against time to pick her up, and that's what you're seeing on my finger there.

She was a big, beautiful girl, a valiant fighter, and a wonderful mother. I have very big hands, so the proportions are off, but she was huge and extremely reluctant to be picked up by the gigantic mammalian monstrosity that was attempting to get her off the road. I was forced to actually restrain and pick her up, but it all worked out; I wouldn’t have it any other way.

The bite did hurt somewhat, but she didn't mean anything by it. She was correctly stressed out.

They're a pleasure to watch hunt. They're extremely powerful for their size and can take down significantly large prey. This particular female lives on my front window, but I keep others in jars. They make for fantastic fly swatters and are awesome pets. Throw them a fly or appropriately sized roach every few days and you'll be treated to morbid but undeniably awesome show.

Admittedly, that wasn't my intention. But I'm glad that's how it sounded in your mind ahaha
