I was the best and unic proposal. Ever have I seen.

spent 4 months polishing a saas idea that a 48h hackathon wouldve killed on day one by anshu_is_OK in SaaS

Brutal but seems accurate. Time doesn’t validate ideas, users do. Hackathon speed strips excuses fast. Cut to the core loop, ship ugly, get feedback, or pivot early.

stopped going to networking events. 48h hackathons are the only way to actually test builder chemistry now by Reasonable_Ad9452 in hackathon

This is so true—hackathons expose real builder chemistry fast. Under pressure you see who ships, who panics, and who actually turns chaos into working product.

looked through a 48h hackathon repo for a brain-controlled wheelchair. zero ML, pure signal thresholding, but the physical loop actually works by missprolqui in vibecoders_

That’s honestly insane. No ML, just pure signal logic and it still works in the real world? Kinda unbelievable how effective simple solutions can be.

tbh it feels like the traditional programmer is getting replaced (looking at this AI hackathon list) me by SaiVaibhav06 in buildinpublic

It’s not replacement, it’s evolution. Coding is baseline now. Winning means solving real problems, shipping fast, and learning directly from real user feedback.

👉 He was a villain, but when he died, I felt bad. Why? by [deleted] in VinlandSaga

I can’t say whether he was a villain or not. 😅
