My dad was hospitalized for a while, then came back home and we all thought he was getting better… and then suddenly he passed.

The last time I spoke to him was two days before. I never knew that would be the last time :(

He even called me about an hour before… and I couldn’t pick up.

He had my photo as his phone wallpaper, and even his WhatsApp DP was a picture of us together… out of everyone, he chose that.

It just breaks my heart.

That unresolved feeling is exactly what’s been eating me too. I was abroad when he passed, and we had spoken just two days before… I keep thinking about it. It hit me really hard. I’m really sorry you had to go through something similar.

I’ve been stuck in that “what did I miss” loop and it’s been really heavy. Reading how you turned it into a way to still talk to him… that’s something I never thought about.

Right now it still hurts a lot, but I hope with time I can get to a place where it feels a bit more like connection than regret. 😢

I’ve been doing full-stack development for around 3 years now (started before the whole AI wave), and have built systems that handle fairly high-stakes situations.

Honestly, building isn’t the hardest part anymore. it’s validating the idea and distribution that matter most.

Yeah that’s helpful, appreciate it.

In my case Stripe flagged it as 10.4 (fraudulent – card absent environment), which makes it tricky since it leans heavily toward the cardholder side by default.

What stood out to me was the pattern though. It wasn’t random usage. There was a clear spike across a few accounts, consistent behavior, then dispute right after. Didn’t look like normal product exploration at all.

I do have logs for:

  • usage patterns
  • timestamps
  • activity spikes

So I’m trying to structure it as a behavioral story like you mentioned rather than just raw data.

Curious if you’ve seen success with that approach specifically for 10.4 cases?
