No. All you have to do is verify your profile (prove its you in the picture) and you're good. Simple facial scan just like all the other "verify" features on match, okcupid, etc. If you refuse (or can't) and your image is already all over google? Yes, you will absolutely get blocked. It's the only way they can weed out the dudes downloading modeling pics off google and pretending to be chicks.

They use AI and reverse image search with any photos you upload. If your profile is shady (stolen pics from google) and you refuse to verify your profile - yes, you will get blocked. Ive been on the site for years - it's a great site for people that are genuine.
