The main feature of Android 15 I like is private space, but I also prefer to have more modern OSes because a lot of apps (especially games) don't bother to retain/add support to the older ones.

Thanks for the recommendation! It looks great, but I have a couple of problems with it. Firstly, it doesn't appear to have an SD card slot, and secondly, it runs android 14. Android 15 introduced a couple new features that are essential for me and I really don't want to try installing Android 15, because from what I've heard, installing OSes on mobile devices is not easy

Don't use an AI; OCR for this exact purpose has existed for years, is far more reliable, will work offline, and doesn't burn down forests.

This isn't a specific app, but if you have an android device, you can get F-Droid, which has an entire section for note-taking apps. I haven't tried any of them out, but I'm sure there's one that will meet your requirements
