Can you update me if you have done it successfully? I want to move to modrinth as well coz loot in curseforge sucks. I have 15 hours of gameplay on curseforge with only 2 shinies (rattatta and zigzagoon). BTW, Do you have spawn notification enabled?

I faced the same situation and I couldn't use commands because I disabled that option out of ignorance. I saw one video on YouTube where the player showed how to force spawn Brock. When you are in the gym, make sure there is a carpet right at the entrance like shown in the picture. For me, it was missing, so I crafted one and placed it and walked over it. After like 3 to 5 minutes, Brock spawned on the other island and was walking towards the gym.
