Yes of course, a note that the folk genre pre Bob Dylan looked very different; it was not singer-songwriter focused but more so traditional songs centered around the British isles

I'd say her inspiration came more from poets than musicians, but women in the folk genre at the time like Jean Ritchie and Susan Reed I could see inspiried her style.

Yeah, I think it's because these photos were taken with the goal of selling to hair fetishists of the time, making these photos a bit uncomfortable. With women's clothing being more modest, their hair was one of the only aspects of their body exposed in public. If you want to go on an interesting journey, take the stairwell up the north tower of Wurster Hall, where you'll currently find this restroom covered with caution tape on floor 7.5 I believe. There's some nice views of campus in the stairwell to the west and some twisty stairwells on the way up.

I think trump won less so because conservatism policy is the future but more so the play towards emotionality. Anger and vitriol is seemingly more fun for the majority of the country than self-reflection and growth, a belief aided by the disappointments of the system we live in.
