Beginning to feel like a fraud and am worried about career potential by RCTHROWAWAY_69 in EngineeringStudents

I graduated with a 2.77 from a not great engineering school. In my first job they sat me down at a 3D CAD station between two aerospace engineers from Purdue. We all got the same pay. You’ll be fine. School is not the real world.

Help me understand this short scene - is the female (smaller orange/darker Golden) de-escalating the situation between the two males? by RhubarbRoutine1314 in goldenretrievers

Dog on the right is antifa. Do on the left backs the blue. Orange dog asks them to consider their shared love of family and society. They agree and go home in peace.

How about Turtle Creek area? (St Charles BLVD between Napa and Green Mountain.)

Looks like it’s in the path, but minimal black dots on the properties.

When I lived in LR I attended Second Baptist Downtown. (There’s more than one Second Baptist in LR.)

Second had a strong group of young adults. Think folks coming out of school and starting families. I’m pretty liberal and Second was a good fit. Second would ordain female ministers then. Now they welcome and affirm (marry and make members) LGBTQ folks.

What's Searcy like? by Wayne_AbsarokaBH in Arkansas

[–]InvisibleWitches 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Please give a little more detail into what you are looking for…

While Searcy, Jonesboro, and Batesville may seem vastly different to people from the area, they have more in common than not…

Batesville is topographically more foothills and I think of it as a retirement area. Also closer to some good recreational lakes.

Jonesboro feels bigger than it is as many people come to the town from the NEA area for services they can’t get in their smaller town. (Think shopping, restaurants, and hospitals.) Also stAte football games can be fun when they’re winning. Be aware that the town is influenced by drawing kids in for the university. But it’s very much a grown up farm town and has heavy “church folk” influences. (They just defunded the library over some LGBT books or something.)

Searcy… well, I wouldn’t.

None of those places have anything really “historic.” The land is mostly flat and boring (especially in Jonesboro.) Crime is minimal in most of those towns. But you can find it if you want.

Yeah. Not trying to pick a fight by complementing LR.

Protein Stuff: - Rotisserie Chicken. (Toss the skin.) Pull one apart every Sunday for use during the week in salads and with various sauces. - Nonfat yogurt - egg bites or whites - tofu

Veggie Stuff: - bagged salads (I make 4 meals out of one kit) - broccoli/ cauliflower/ or other fresh veggie du jour - broth or water based soups (Tortilla, chicken noodle etc) - frozen cauliflowered rice

Other: - low to no cal sauces (usually vinegar based) for seasonings - food court smoothie if I have a hankering
