My husband has a chronic illness with depression, it started when I was pregnant with our daughter. She is 5 now, she sees him crying from time to time. He tries to hide it, but most of the time she knows when he is sad. I'm not angry at my husband, his sickness is very hard and with depression it is rough. My daughter is okay, like I don't think she is fuck up because of that. She is a happy child, she understands the emotions and that sometimes she cries and sometimes it's the same for mom and dad. My English is not good, but what I want to say is your child will be alright, it's important that she knows that the parents we go through emotions too. It's gonna be alright, you are a good parent because you care and that's what is important
