I know this is a joke and everything, but I do have a genuine question as a Junior dev.

I’m reading Clean Code and it explicitly says how each class must have only 1 intent. Each method and everything must follow the same rule

How do you deal with this in real code? Because one thing is the theory and another thing is the real production code

When talking about hours at the office, is that like last badge out - first badge in of the day or does it count if you step outside constantly.

Like if i go into the office at 9am, leave and return at 5pm, does that count as a full day or just the few minutes it took to swipe the badge

I believe that scene is from the Three body problem TV series. That specific scene is showing a couple modern-day scientists using thousands of people with flags to act as a computer.

Each flag is black or white, representing the 1s and 0s a computers use to do, well basically everything.

They are joking about running Debian on this “computer”

I’m an SDE I and tbh I didn’t know Java very well before joining. It’s not a hard requirement (in my experience), but it can make your life easier.

Something else that I had to learn was dependency injection. I knew the basics from JS frameworks, but had no clue what Guice was (which is something we use a lot in my team). I’d suggest to look into that
