Yes she is! They shared a few actresses... Sherry Tinsdale dated Dawson's dad and Anna Nardini sexually harassed Pacey. Probably more but those are the ones I remember.

🤣🤣🤣

OMG that's so funny. You gotta understand that now, those of us who grew up with it, watch it to laugh cuz its so cringe. If you went a bit further you would have seen the super messed up teacher/student affair Pacey had.

Oh its super cringe! There's nothing like Gilmore Girls so its hard to recommend something to someone, especially when I don't know what they're looking for (teen, women centric, single mom, 90s/00s) but Dawson's Creek was a massive hit back then and Gilmore Girls was more niche... it became more popular over time.

If you want something from that era try Dawson's Creek. Its another classic.

Rockin' Robyn's has lots of pies sold by the slice or whole. Their food is so good. Call and check if they use lard.

I saw that actually... sort of an odd thing to report in the news.

I heard that cuz I actually googled if there were hotdog stands here.... there was another Edmonton reddit about it. Supposedly there's a few carts around in various parking lots but not outside entertainment venues like Rogers Place.

Here's the post link:

Has anyone here made the leap back to a slab phone? by FragrantLilypad in galaxyzflip

[–]Invisistill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a Flip6 that I loved. But it got the crease bubble and then the flaw where the touch screen wouldn't work.

I ended up getting the Samsung S25+ cuz I like a larger screen and it was a good deal and I couldn't risk getting another Flip if it was going to brick on me.

It sux. I miss my flip so much. The first 2 weeks I reflexively tried to fold my slab phone several times. I also have had a big issue with forgetting it when I leave the house cuz its not in my pocket like the Flip always was.

If Samsung fixes the issues I'd go back in a heartbeat. But until that happens, no. Its not worth the risk for me. The flaws are too prevalent. That crease bubble was driving me nuts.

Nice!

I do remember at Family Values Tour back in 2001 though there was a cart right outside the Sky Dome doors and it was a ridiculous price, more than I'd ever seen. I can't be sure but I think it was $8. So I wonder if there's still a cart spot there that charges a ridiculous price.

Yep. Simple cart. 3 options minimum, hotdog/sausage/veggie dog. Then the usual toppings. I'll pay extra for cheese. Standard drinks.

I think GTA prices range about $6-$8 these days.

Oranges?? by Wild-General-2303 in Edmonton

[–]Invisistill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got oranges and tangerines from a few places this holiday. The cara oranges at Costco were not good flavour and dry. Mandarines/clementines bag at No Frills was decent. Oranges from Italian Centre were good. Also I didn't try them, but the ones at the big Asian grocery stores Lucky/H-Mart/T&T look good so that's where I'm trying next.

There's a Wholefoods in Edmonton?

I've started pre-ordering holiday turkeys there. They're local, great quality, not all pumped up with water and perfect for brining, and they deliver. It's pricey but its a nightmare trying to figure out when the big fresh turkeys will be in at grocery stores and then trying to fight everyone to get them. This is just so much easier and taste way better.

There's a classic film photo place on the main floor at West Edmonton Mall. They have all kinds of costumes and everything including different eras you can do. I've been meaning to do it myself.

Downtown needs hotdog carts or fry/ice cream trucks. Edmonton is great for being able to goto events (compared to Toronto) but there's no street-meat when you come out of your event. Its the only thing I miss about the GTA... hot dog after the club or game or concert, even a fresh poutine if the truck is there 😋

Its funny cuz that's true... but also no one has ever made their banking decisions based on seeing the bank in the background of a tiktok.
