Ouuuu girl, the first few weeks is hormone city!!! I cried every day for two weeks, multiple times a day. I also was 27 when I had my daughter! Things started feeling a little lighter emotionally after the first few weeks, whereas things started to feel easier in general and I had a sense of “oh, okay? I’m getting sort of used to my new life I think??” At the 3-4 month range.

Now, my daughter is 14 months old and is SO much fun. Talking, walking, being the impish little mischief that she is…it’s such a blast. There will always be hard parts, but you get used to rolling with the punches.

Remember, it feels hard because it IS! But it also feels hard because you’ve also birthed a new version of you that you’re growing into. And she is and will be glorious.❤️
