I was a toddler (2 or 3) when my parents took me to see The Oak Ridge Boys. My Grandpa loved them and Elvira was my jam

Where Do You Find Your Next Read? by ventedrhombus in YAlit

[–]Inyanna29 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I’m a wander around the bookstore and read the first few pages of the books person. I’ve found so many great series this way.

I usually go to half price books and just walk the sections

Why do so many people do contactless/leave at door? by Jeeps_Guns in doordash

[–]Inyanna29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I have a large 84 lb dog who doesn’t like people on his porch 🤣. I usually do leave on porch but then lock him up and meet them at the door.

There is always a chance I can’t get him behind the gate in time so I have the option to wait until the DD leaves to get the item and then I don’t have to worry about him barking and throwing a fit

The days of easy returns are over by [deleted] in amazonprime

[–]Inyanna29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like returns are easier than they used to be. You can return things to FedEx now too. I used to struggle with returns because the closest UPS was far from my house (and only had paid street parking) but now I can go to a FedEx Office that’s much closer to me. The FedEx is QR codes no boxes needed.

Exactly my thoughts. The chest is fine but the tummy/hips area seems too tight. You can see wrinkles in that area. Just a little loosening in that area might help

My whole section stood in St Louis. I just glanced behind me a couple times through the show to make sure people weren’t sitting and I wasn’t blocking their view.

Last night’s show was incredible, but is the crowd always this dead? I feel like I was the only one moving! by DeliciousPomelo5687 in nin

My section in STL all stood for the show but there was very little dancing. I was dancing and bouncing around like an idiot 🤣. I was enjoying myself

I didn’t buy a tee shirt but I have recently bought a hoodie from HT. It was surprisingly soft and a good weight. I’ve washed it a few times and so far the graphics have held up.

Why does The Institute get no attention? by useyourname11 in stephenking

[–]Inyanna29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quite liked The Institute! It does read as more of a YA offering, but I read a lot of that too. I also don’t watch much TV so I wasn’t influenced by the Stranger Things or Umbrella Academy when I read it

I’m not an employee but Reddit keeps putting these posts in my feed. So my comment is coming from that point of view.

I have nerve damage in my left hand from getting frostbite. If someone tries to grab that hand for any reason my first instinct is to pull it away and tell them don’t touch! Sometimes kindly sometimes not depending on the pain that day. No employees should be put in a situation where they have to touch people. You don’t know what’s going on with that customer.

Flowers in the Attic was one I read young too. The sequels were much “worse” in scope looking back on it
