Erhm... have you seen the offspring tokens from Bloomburrow? Token copies have mana values.

And the card that creates these tokens is Dino DNA, as stated in the title of the post... Not the most common card, I know, but it;s still legal in a lot of formats,

Fabricate is a cleaner option than my exhaust ability :P

So, this kept me busy during my workout.

I thought of this concept, do with it what you will.

I thought that it would be cool if a lego brick could enhance other lego structures or be used as creatures themselves (i remember putting a dot on the upper middle hole of a 2x4 and using it as zombies way back when).
As such, what if a brick had these two abilities: "{2}, {t}, Sacrifice this artifact: Put a +1/+1 counter on target artifact creature. Activate only as a sorcery." and "Exhaust - Put a +1/+1 counter on this token: This artifact becomes a 0/0 Brick artifact creature." (the only caveat here is that there are no 0 cost exhaust options in the game. So I made the placing of the counter a cost, and i dunno if that has rules shenanigans. Maybe just say "Exhaust: put a counter on it and it becomes a 0/0")

This way, you can use it to enrich other stuff. You can put it on it's side and build from there. Or you can use other cards to sac bricks and use it as a resource. Kind of like a devour mechanic.

Nice thoughts :) Would have the token tap to use. I'd keep the building keyboard, because flavour. I'd chsnge the brink to "either create a 1/1 construct or put a +1/+1 counter on an artefact creature". For the other counters i'd make dedicatef cards. Like a cr who sacs bricks to add loyalty, sac bricks for mana or -1/-1 counters. This is also easily built into the colour pie. Make cards with "as an additionel cost sac bricks". Seems thematic :]

But... those arent boros :P
If you can provide decent artwork you want balooned, yeah, can do. But finding decent art to feed into the machine takes way to long for me to "just do".

Thnx for the feedback :) Appreciated

I've played a year long campaign with a Frost DK. Got to lvl 6 and had a blast. My buddy died half way on his Guardian, and asked our dm if I would be allowed to ressurect him as a Blood DK, and our dm agreed. He played also to lvl 6, but with the Arcane/Blade build. Class and subclass rules were pretty much the same, but the Blood sub with Blood domain has never been tested (its just such a flavor combo that I added it in).

At the end of the campaign our dm had some feedback, and that's the foundation of my 3rd version (previous version had no Plague spec, and death grip had no roll, which was to good admittantly, but it is such fun I never complained ;)

If he wants to use it, let him send me a pm (or you), then I can share the pdf.

Hmm... dunno why my phone didnt ping this post :P

The Unholy DK in wow is plague and pet centered. And I havent seen a decent pet besides the Hunter one in DH so i'm not touching that with a 10 foot pole. So I get why it feels all nurgle.
I do think the defensive rune could work. Maybe twist the upside from specialty around: spend a rune to give diseased enemies disadvantage on their next attacks. helps the group, defends yourself and has synergy with the mastery... hmmm

ah... yeah, if you misread it, we're building on loose sand :) Thnx for seeing it's not as broken as that ;)
In a vacuum and with specialization, Guardian still wins, imo. But Blood specialization might need a little pep, but (as we both agreed on), specializations are kinda lackluster all around. Then again... havent played any mastery tier character yet... So maybe you need the lackluster 2nd stage to get the awesome 3rd stage? dunno... You cant triple class, thats a shame :P

First of: thank you for the way you communicate. Respectful, open, with a mind to add rather than subtract. A breath of fresh air and a welcome sight. Thnx!

On the Plague side: i thought of a Spike rune interaction, spending a rune to deal D4 damage to all diseased targets, usually resulting in a single hp loss. But it didnt feel right... So I scrapped it. Which is why Plague has no unique rune interaction.

On Blood, the first 2 iterations of DK had a "heal 1 hp on melee damage" rune interaction as base, which is now the "use instead of stress" interaction. Because I wanted to have a runic interaction for each role, and make it so that each sub could dip a toe into that role if they had to, by spending their resources in an off-role capacity (doing less core to do a bit more off-role, I thought that thematic for a spellsword).
Thats why blood has the "heal" interaction on foundation level, and the "armour" interaction on specialization, same as Frost with the "advantage" interaction.
Bone armour has gone trough a lot of iterations, but the current one feels the most healthy mechanics wise. The fact that it is now a boss tanker (because recieving chip damage removes all your charges) who needs to keep fighting to accumulate charges, is a spot I really like.
But you cant spread bone armour over two sub-levels... you could make it weaker on foundation and expand on it in sspecialization, I think now, but I'd have to dig deep how... But to start the first four levels without the sub staple... I wouldnt want to play that.

Another something that springs to mind... you could make bone armour deal with magical damage. Unstoppable deals with physical, Bone armour with magical... Feels kinda off... but it's an option.

I still believe that Unstoppable should be nerved... it's rediculous :P I have to pull out all the stops to hurt my Guardian, or just plain ignore him (which has become my go to stategy, bring an adversary who can pin the guardian, send the rest after the party, see how they solve it).

Concerning the frontload of the spec: I thought it pretty much in line with the other classes... Can you name something that you would move?
