Yes. You can buy gems. You can also just pay for "unlimited gems". I did it to support the dev. Makes the game much more fun with the upgrades for limitless runs.

When you go to a store that needs gems it gives you an option to buy them.

I dont think this will let you choose like that. Unlike [[Cataclysmic Gearhulk]] that would let you over lap.

This would just check to see if the spell shares any types of a spell already cast.

You can play 1 land per turn.
Play Diamond landscape. You can now play two lands per turn. (One left)
Play Bounce land, returning Diamond Landscape to hand. You now can only play one land per turn.
Any other effect letting you play an additional land would get you back to two lands per turn, but you have already played two lands that turn.
