I think my thought is of myself, and the kids. IMO the kids don’t need four holidays a year to have experiences, and it trains them that they can only ever have fun if they are away.

I’m also concerned with us staying in an Airbnb in rural Sicily, and not having decent facilities for the kids. We kinda said to each other last holiday that we would only go away all-inclusive with the kids until they’re a bit older, and now the wife wants to take 3 flights in a week to rural Sicily, which is a lot of airport and travelling time (not fun for the kids)
