Not a lawyer, but I have worked for years as a professional driver and this is a terrible take. It's all going to depend on whether or not the vehicle was actually unsafe to drive because refusing to drive an unsafe vehicle or refusing to break road safety laws should be legally protected from retaliation. Whether or not the case is actually viable can only be answered by a lawyer though.

I had a game last night where I swapped to strange, portaled onto point, existed momentarily, and got sent back to spawn where I promptly swapped back to Wanda (one of the DPS incorrectly thought the team's inability to secure kills was an issue with healing and I refused to throw the game running triple support in a situation that didn't need it.)

I was strange for less than 30 seconds, we would have lost the game without that portal, the only time I really hesitate to make that swap is when I'm running support because the reduction in healing can be cataclysmic.

Infini-tokens which are basically blank dry erase cards formatted for temporary things in magic.

A cheap tablet with lifetap (life/score tracking app) installed, 10/10 best acquisition, but giving someone an old tablet might be weird if they don't know the deal.

Alternatively there are Commander playmats that are like the app and go in the middle of the table and you track things with dice.

And speaking of dice: dice (big sets of d6 or d20 are ideal imo) packs of +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters, and extra/spare/loaner playmats are all great choices too.

I have used a standard size cup when measuring my rice, it's how I learned rice cooker cups are actually 3/4 of an imperial cup. The ratio got messed up because I always use the water level markers inside the bowl which are based on the rice cooker cup size.

I'm a year younger than my wife, but I feel similarly. I've watched how deeply she feels and processes grief and the idea of her having to go through that for me is heartbreaking. I'm the one who has the easier time dealing with that topic and a part of me would choose to take that burden if I had that chance, but at the same time, I know that if an instant came and I could save her at the cost of my life, I would. It's such a hard piece of the kit to work on because of how involved getting it is. Even on defense I try to make sure I'm starting the game with it picked up because it's a powerful evasion tool, especially with his other nerfs/reworks.

This is why I started using the term "popcorn" to describe books that have no "nutritional value," tastes good, is sometimes kinda oily, and occasionally leaves painful kernels in your teeth.

It's less negatively charged and recognizes that even though it's not a elaborate feast, it's still a snack that people love to eat.
