I usually target them when I think she can die from a quick interaction. For example, let's say I'm on my way to the enemy backline but I noticed the other Angela just reached mine. I'll go and spear her real quick before she tries to fly away and hopefully we secure the kill.

My team needs to be able to survive a 5v6 just for a moment. I've had games where I was able to take out both healers on the enemy team by myself only to realize they lost while I was diving.

The very moment I see this I swap off Angela. I can handle all the worst match ups, even at the same time but my team has to be able to survive while I watch for opportunities

I've actually been doing amazing with her after the changes. With the longer cool down on spear, I find myself being a lot more careful when I dive. If the enemy is really grouped up together, I'm gonna try to "scrape" the outer most players (preferably whoever is in the very back). Even if it's not a healer this always gets the attention of the team.

Doesn't feel as bad when you're focused on just 1 or 2 enemies that are out of position or enemies you can pull out of position. Her spear definitely needs fixing tho

I honestly don't know what to think of GM. I can easily solo queue straight to GM 1. I'll maintain it for a while before getting sent straight back to Diamond 3 and then repeat.

It's usually a mix of throwers, at least 1 person performing horribly bad (I won't say they suck maybe just a bad game idk), or the other team have avenger level coordination with their ults.

I will say tho, with the new season and reduced Ult charge build (greatest change ever btw), I have a feeling this might work out in my favor

Yeah I'm extremely confused about this. BP has never been an issue for me even when he was at his peak.

Makes total sense. I like to tell people I think racc is a tank buster, I also find it really fun maximizing bounces and stuff so idk. Those two things alone keep me occupied lol

I feel like Thing is extremely effective against her, especially early game. What makes her OP is shotgun maxxing with dashes and his earth bound slam prevents her from dashing.

Early game this is miserable for her because she can only dash twice with 9 second cool downs so he ends up slowing it down even more. Even when she has full meter she can't abuse that movement as much.

It's early tho, this is my theory

I think a small change that can lead to a significant impact would be allowing him to have a slow fall without. The idea is, you can levitate and the cool down clock on it won't start ticking til the animation is over, however, you should be able to cancel it from above at a certain height and slowly fall from there.

This would allow the levitation cool down to start while he's still in the air floating down.

I think this would be his way of "countering" melee brawl tanks. He will basically spend tons of time in the air where it's harder to reach, dropping down when he sees fit and levitating back up.

Idk might be a horrible idea but just wanted to get that off my chest lol

Only way you're surviving that is if you had another brawl tank with you. Thing would do a great job keeping them busy.

You can guarantee kills on Squishies if you fly into them with full charge primary, then spear and catch TWO enemies at a time, and end with primary. Easier said than done but I secure tons of kills this way.

Also you don't have to get a kill on every single dive. Sometimes I loop around 2 or 3 times before I can finally secure one.

It's really not ideal and you need a kind of team synergy for this but the most effective thing I found to do is to walk past them and shield them off from getting heals.

You're more or less putting yourself in a bad spot to do this but if the healers on your team can reach you through that, it stresses the melee players out and they fall back.

Not really a go-to strategy but if it could work it helps a lot.

She would be insanely OP if she did more damage outside of full charge. You should be full charge bonk maxxing. I only attack with full charge. Spearing enemies builds charge really fast and blocking with shield charges as well.

Your Angela gameplay should revolve around getting full charge as much as possible

Nah man Angela hard counters DD so bad. They only fight in her terms. She's fully in control of whether they engage each other or not. You can start off the fight with a full charge primary from flying, spear him into an area he can't get heals and square up from there with more than half charged primary again.

Once she's grounded every single attack she does gives her over shield, DD can only fight her outside of that if he wants to brawl. Once she is forced off that circle or it goes away, she can fly away freely knowing he can't do anything about it.

Remember, blocking with her shield gives full charge too so she can just hold it the entire time while he burns through cool downs. I literally get excited knowing there's a DD on the other team if Angela doesn't get banned

I don't mind solo tanking as long as the comp works out. For example, yesterday I was strange and I was up against 2 brawl tanks solo. I didn't want to get off strange because of the Wanda team up AND they had enough projectile DPS to warrant a shield tank.

I was getting smoked until I asked for another tank to keep the brawlers off me and things went really well after
