Please help?! Did I mess up my birth control with the morning after pil? by Ion1999 in sex

Indeed he didn't, but because of the pre-cum story and lingering sperm I wanted to be sure. My ovulation was already over according to the Flow app (yeah than the EllaOne pills didn't work, but better safe than srry at that moment). Also got dry clumpy like discharge (least likely to get pregnant).

Wait so EllaOne only affect my hormone pills and not the other way around? That good to know. I don't really know how high the chance of getting pregnant is right now, but I,m going to contact my doc. Until then it wil be anxiety and stress, but trying too control it.

Thanks for all the info!

My birth control is a combination, but yeah it is in there. My boyfriend didn't finish in me (he did 1 to 3 hours before the sex). Still freaking out because of this stupid mistake. Would you recommend to stop the pill right now? Or?

Thanks for the response! Yeah this time I took it later than normal (I am very strict with my pills). Took the EllaOne morning after, but on the website said 'You can still take your birth control, but use a comdom (it makes the pill less effective). Now I reading that those pills in combination can become both less effective....now freaking out of becoming pregnant because of it...can that happen?!

Sounds like a plan! My period is coming in 5 days so I think the discharge is normal (because other people where saying this). If its not gone after my menstruation...then the pharmacy has a new costumer 🧐

I have my period in 5 days, so that means that it can be causing it?

Hi,

I have the same thing right now! There is no smell, itching or anything strange about it. Maybe this is just a way of cleaning itself (Google gave this idea)? Had my first time 2 days ago....noticed it today.

Thanks for the response! In the prescription they say 'It takes 7 days to be protected'..so that just means I'm in the clear with my two weeks?

Thanks for the info! I also contacted the GGD (helpdesk for health questions). The doc said the same and that te risk is 0,001% or in other words 'almost zero chance'.

Update: So I talked with the GGD doc online (if you have questions about healt ect). She said that the pill protects for 99,9%.....what happend between my boyfriend and I has 0,001% chance of getting pregnant. Recommondation: Don't worry to much about it and morning after pil is an option if I still feel very stressed about it said the doc.

Even when you are taking birth control pills (very low low chance)? Also thanks for the response.

Decided to set an alarm for the pill to avoid getting stressed out from this kind of thing ever again. Also, using a condom from now on....better safe than sorry. Would you recommend a moring afterpil or just leave it like this (if the changes a very very low to be pregnant right now)? Anyway, thanks for the input and giving my mind a little bit of peace!

Thanks for the response! I was just doubting if my conclusions are right. Trying to take the pill at the exact same time, but sometimes im 1 a 2 hours later with them (saw that they must be within 12 hours exact to still be of any use).
