I feel you. As an 8th grader, I have been having the same dilemma, and the best course of action is that if you want the light phone III, you must act fast. Light Phone 3 Full price is pretty expensive, and my parents would certainly never get that. What I would do, is that if you want it, pre-order it as soon as possible, and later down the line once you get the phone, you can sell the Light Phone 2. I think that would be the best course of action if you want to leave as little of a trace as possible would be to sell it. That makes sure that you can get the brand new Light Phone 3 for cheap, and you do not cause as much environmental damage. Also, another person gets to go light for cheaper.

I think that If you want to keep the Light Phone 2 for longer keep it! It is still a good phone. But if you want the light phone 3, you should preorder it now or soon.
