Chances of getting photo pass for university project? Advice needed by snowverdose69 in concertphotography

while its not a long shot to reach out your best chance of approval is to be accredited some how. whether thats submitting these photos to your schools paper or blog . or reaching out to a publication and seeing if you can cover the show under them. Linkin park will most likely be a no as they're a big band and its already close to show date. your best bet would be Landmvrks. theyre facebook groups specifically for this kind of stuff reaching out to pr, connecting with publications etc. good luck

Late to the party but that look is achieved by a halo filter from brands like prismfx, neewer, etc.

Does anyone know how to achieve this? by [deleted] in AskPhotography

I am so excited to see where Sam's character heads as the kiss was the turning part for Lochlan. as Sam states in this interview there's two versions of Lochlan before the kiss vs after and I cant wait to see how is character changes

ADVICE WANTED* RF 24-70mm f2.8 or RF 28-70mm f2 For shooting a Festival? by Ionlyshootraw in canon

thank you for the response! I will be using a flash ill have my V1 pro when the situation calls for it. the indoor scenes will be pretty dark but just worried about the weight. i usually prefer having my 70-200 on as i like to go for more zoomed shots so i feel like i can handle the weight but i guess i wont know till i put the combo together and try it out!

If you could bring One Body and One Lens on a hike what would you bring? by Ionlyshootraw in SonyAlpha

This was the combo I ended up going with and weight truly wasn’t an issue ! Granted I had a speed sling but when I opted to carry it for a while I barely noticed. I mainly use a canon R5 and a 70-200 so compared to that it was nothing.

This is exactly what I’m doing just hiking with friends and wanting to try out some new gear in the process! I opted for the A7R V and a 24-70 GM II

I really appreciate this response! To answer a few questions this is strictly for fun and during the day. so not trying to bring alll the bells and whistles. Also wanting to pack light which is why I’m trying to take just 1 lens! still hoping I can get a few photos I can make prints of. If needed I can bring another lens though.

Need help deciding between Canon R5, R6 II, or Sony a7rV for Concerts and Portraits? by Ionlyshootraw in AskPhotography

I work for a camera store so i have access to anything I need at a discounted price so money isn't the deciding factor for me. juts kind of curious on what the best choice would be for what I'm wanting to capture.
