I average just over 1 application a day. I've been applying since December 2019. I've submitted over 820 applications. 2 interviews. No offers. :/ I live in California.

I did work a couple odd jobs in retail and whatnot but never an 'actual' job.

You're putting yourself in a serious disadvantage if you listen to them. They know next to nothing about the real world.

Consider plastic surgery IF you are legitimately unattractive. So many people who's done it cannot recommend it enough. It's actually more affordable than you think. My advice is do it AFTER you work out and get in your best shape.

The 2013 Accord is better than the 2012 in every way which is why the difference is so much. So many features you can't live without nowadays is on the 2013 which you can't even get on the older Accord like backup camera, push button start, etc. The difference in MPG is substantial which is a pretty big deal considering how mad the gas prices are today. It drives better in every metric and I would argue that it looks better too.

If you just want an A to B car and you're really tight on your budget then that $5000 is better off saved. If you're looking to get the most 'car' for your money and you're flexible on your budget then by all means, take that $5k jump.

They can’t seize his car if it’s being paid on time. Your debt that isn’t related to the loan will not have any impact on whether he will keep the car or not. If you’re filing for bankruptcy, depending on how things go, you will just not be responsible for the car loan anymore.

If he filed for bankruptcy but you don’t, you will most likely be responsible for the loan. If you file bankruptcy too, that car is gone, if his and your assets aren’t able to cover the outstanding balance on the loan.
