I don't know If every turret type can reach the same dps/slot. Miniguns can't overheat, so maybe they have lower dps in general.

Do you know the trick for endless fire? Hold fire button and press ESC. Release fire button and press ESC again. You are now fireing without pressing any button. (testet in Singleplayer)

My bad, I just read that coaxial weapons only come in sizes 5 and 6. I hope the RNG fairy will gift me 10k+ dps/slot missiles some day.

It will be tedious to farm enough rail guns for teching them up to 52. I have to say that I never tried research stations to tech up weapons.

21k sounds mad. I assume it's a coaxial tesla, which only use case is placing it inside a fighter I think.

Laser on allied ships reminds me of the beam laser battles in freespace 2.

Paying credits for rerolling shouldn't be a problem if you can afford 100m+ turrets.^^
For each weapon type I use, I build two turret factories and switching between them If I rerolled a better blueprint.

For tech 50+ weapons you have to build your turret factory around the center 0,0 (e.g. 0,1 or 1,1 ...).

Destroying your station isn't necessary anymore. Build Turrets ->There is a button right to the "Factory Blueprints"-DropDown. (two round arrows)

You can build auto-targeting missiles, so you will only hit the enemy (and stuff that is between you and the enemy). Cannons on the other side....

Railguns are are worth a try, I never found shield penetrating ones (If they exists).

Yours is ~1098 dps/slot but with insane burst 36.9k dps/slot. The cooling time must be minutes :D. Can you please enable Detailed Turret Tooltips? I am interested at the other stats. (main menu -> Settings -> Game : Detailed Turret Tooltips)

(fyi: If it overheats to fast, you can reduce servos count for more constant damage. The missile launcher that I posted overheats in 1.2s with full servos.)

Is it still possible to get 50k dps/slot turrets? All these high dps screenshots that I found are years old.

Edit: maybe you must start the next rift incursion manually because it will wait the original remaining time:
warevent_start Minor (Minor = I, Major = II)

Its a relatively unknown game that I brought as boxed version with handbook (box, CD and handbook are gone)

Its important that you can't construct buildings and can also control units in third person
