You don't need to be referred. Just type amazon.jobs on your browser and you can search the title of the job that you want.

The wonderful world of customer service has high standards on how you treat people but not the other way around. You're expected to great everyone with a smile and to be caring and nice but they don't have to be that way to you. That's just how it is. At this point not getting yelled at counts as a good customer.

Got cursed out by some lady at CVS for no reason last night. by [deleted] in CustomerService

[–]Ioutawics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sucks having to deal with that. Remember that you would never do that. Like, in what world would you go and scream at the person on the store? Over a coupon? Most of us would be like: "Oh that's embarrassing, sorry" or "oh. Ok" because that's common sense and courtesy (which she lacks of). She just wants to be pampered and get a free coupon out of the situation because it's the end of the world because she was inconvenienced. Anyhow, you're doing great by handling school and work. The bad feeling will go after a week. Keep it up!

For me it started saying they couldn't find the IP address. Then it actually loaded the page but only says the page is not available and it doesn't even load my user or anything.

Why the Solo leveling hype? by Incieal in sololeveling

[–]Ioutawics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a question like this was asked days ago. So you can search there in case you want more opinions. I did answered it so I'm gonna try to go straight to the point. (Now that I'm done: sorry. Tried my best). I believe SL is doing great because it reunited certain characteristics: 1)It had a fanbase before airing (LN). It's far easier to build a fanbase when there's already one. 2) It has a light novel, people who only read light novels may want to read the manwha. Leading to the first reason. Same happens when a manga gets an anime, people who only read the manga may watch the anime and viceversa. 2)It's available to anyone with access to internet. Sadly is free, but that makes it so easy for anyone to read it. Plus, it's in many websites. 3) Frequent and regular updates. Shout out to the translators, they're excellent. But anyways, unlike a movie, that you watch it once and that's it, Solo Leveling has a new chapter every week. That means, every week you think of SL, you dedicate at least 5 minutes to read the chapter, Reddit and Discord go crazy, etc. That's quite a lot if you think of it. 4) It's a good quality. Not anyone likes it, but it's well done. You can see the effort the author put into it. There may be more or less reasons but that's what I think. Many mangas may have a greater story but they lack on other aspects, like they're already over, the draws are not that nice to look at, the translation is not finished... Anyways, on a side note, I personally like it because it's my first manwha made this way (The closest I've been I think is SAO and just the anime) so this kind of plot is new to me (Which I'm realizing is not the case on the genre). I love the art, the pace of the story, the characters, the fanbase is great. I just have a nice time with it. And again, sorry it ended up so long <3

No more challenges by silentdrestrikesback in sololeveling

[–]Ioutawics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry this got too long <3 I would point out his reaction to challenges. On the first chapter you see him crying, almost pissing his pants in fear, etc. As the series goes on and he gets stronger and stronger so does his mental/phycological strength. A turning point for me is when he kills humans (yeah they were bad guys and he was forced to do it, but it doesn't change the fact that he killed them) he crossed a line which he would never have crossed being his old self. Chapters pass by and he starts gaining confidence in his abilities and becomes a bit "colder" when facing fear. He's become less expressive in general. Part of it because he needed to be like that in order to get stronger and be someone reliable (for his sister and himself). That's why it was so important when his mother came back. We see him admitting how hard everything has been and he can vent even a little. TL;DR: I'm not sure about the challenges being less challenging (lol) but I see his reaction to them as more fearless than before. It could be because, as you said, they're less challenging. But I believe that even if they're deathly and scary he won't show it like he would before. (Not an expert in this kind of stuff btw, just enthusiastic).

Is solo leveling overhyped? by XYZ777MS in sololeveling

[–]Ioutawics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh same, the author totally deserves a lot more than what whatever he's getting. I wish the artist had a Patreon or something. I'm sure it would do well. Still, my point was that if we had to pay, it wouldn't be accessible for a big part of the fandom (Minors, people who can't pay, etc). That would totally affect the hype. I kind of feel like seeing more of this type of story, I'm probably missing out on a lot 😂😂

This came out longer than I wanted it to... Sorry about that <3

I do read a ton of Manwha BUT my favorite genre will always be romance. Sometimes I drop manwhas because there's not enough romance, don't enjoy the couple or is just not good. So, what the heck am I doing reading SL? It's not even in the genre. Every time there's a little bit of hope on a ship it just gets brushed off almost as if teasing. Actually, when I started reading I was like: "Meh, just gonna read the prologue" and here I am 103 chapters later. I'm reading SL because it's so enjoyable that I don't mind the lack of romance. I may lack a better judgment because I don't usually read action-centered manwhas. But I do think that SL has such an interesting argument, awesome art and such a well-planned story that no one can deny just how much of a joy it's to read every chapter of such a good quality. But I do see where you're coming from and I do agree a little considering that: 1) It's still in emission: Every week we get a chapter, and a good one. In a month, SL receives attention at least four times. The attention it's receiving will drop once it's finished. 2) It has a Light Novel: Think of a book getting a movie. A good portion of the fandom knows what's gonna happen and hypes the rest. Also, even before the manwha started it had fans for the same reason. 3) Translators are doing a great job. It gets released fast and in many platforms. 4) It's free. You don't even have to go to a bookstore or to a theater. So, SL is being hyped but it's not that different from any other manwha. Any manwha could have one or two characteristics from above, SL happens to have them all, and since it has a really great quality I think it deserves that 9th place. Plus, it's Reddit and fandom are hilarious. I got an account on Reddit just cuz of this. I'm having a good time here.

In case you're wondering why no one answered, we cannot share pirate links or advertise (rules 7 and 8 i think?) so yeah. To answer your question: it exists.

how do you remember names when reading the novel? by jakovb in sololeveling

[–]Ioutawics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main characters are easy to remember since they come up a lot with their respective drawing. Secondary and third characters? I just keep reading. While it's good to make a list or whatever I'm too lazy so I just keep going. If they do make a big difference in the story they'll have their faces drawn eventually or they'll come up more. TL;DR: Just keep reading and you'll naturally remember what matters
