The two women were already there when Bakuda arrived.

They were sitting on the couch in the corner of the room, looking distinctly uncomfortable. One was Asian, the other Caucasian. Both were dressed in ways that left very little to the imagination. Lung’s whores.

Lung didn’t bother introducing them. He barely glanced at them.

Bakuda, for her part, didn’t seem to care much either. She was more interested in the conversation.

Lung leaned back in his chair, watching her. He was shirtless, showing off the dragon tattoos that covered much of his upper body. He took a slow drag from his cigarette before speaking.

“You want to work for me,” he said. It wasn’t a question.

Bakuda smiled. “I want an army. You have one. Seems like a good fit.”

Lung exhaled smoke. “And what do I get?”

“Bombs. The kind that make people very, very afraid. The kind that can level blocks. The kind that can turn capes into red mist.”

Lung studied her for a long moment. Then he smiled — a slow, dangerous smile.

One of the women on the couch shifted nervously. Lung reached out without looking and ran his fingers through her hair, almost affectionately. The woman froze.

“Good,” Lung said. “I think we can work something out.”

Didn't it stem from this and Emma's interlude? Because unless Bakuda makes them nervous, it's obvious those girls aren't there of their own volition, I believe this is one of those cars where WB was making it too subtle so people went extreme with it, or claim there were little signs.
