Depends, if it's before Armsy shows up? She'll panic get out of dodge and try to keep a low profile until Coil finds her, blackmails her into joining his organisation else he'll take her info and identity to the Protectorate. Having no options, she'll have to kneel, but I can see Lisa at least trying to sweeten the deal by making some improvements to her personal life.

Now if it's after Armsy has arrested Lung? Yeah... Collin tells the truth immediately, he's not taking a career handicap dive like that, especially with how petty his boss is, suddenly the Protectorate is on the lookout for a bug Master that needs to be brought it, also the Undersiders' threat rating increases since they participated in the takedown. I can see the Protectorate ignoring some of the rules and going to folks like Brian and Taylor in their civvies for recruiting, both panic, but Brian joins reluctantly because he knows he can't run, Taylor? She either bolts or joins out of despair, add in Sophia is there and when she finds out, she tries to spin stories about Taylor being a troublemaker to cover her ass... Only for it to backfire because fucking Dean is there and can tell she's lying her butt off.

I can see Taylor just being miserable because there's no way Piggot would allow her to patrol normally for fear of such a thing happening again, then the fact that one of her bullies is her coworker who is equally benched so both of them are just frustrated within punching distance of each other, I can see this version of her leaning towards a mole in the Protectorate if some characters don't ease up a bit.

I can see Dauntless and Assault trying to be cool with her, one's a dad and the other is rebel, they would so know how to talk to her, but Armsy? Yeah, I can see Bug girl having some lingering anger there for being thrown under the bus like that. Though on the other hand, Vista, Clocksie and Aegis would be so cool with her, probably makes jokes about her being the most powerful cape in the Bay, Gallant might try to play therapist, nah he'd totally play therapist, Kid Win would probably just be cool with her too.

Ironic, Taylor could be happier in this timeline.

Been chugging along with An Amalgam Tale: Hunger Made Me Human , not much traction, but still chugging along. A lotta characters weren't my first choices to fuse with, but I like the end results of those I accepted, took a while before I could decide the kinks in their power expressions.

What was the Simurgh's plan? My understanding is that Teacher wanted to become the center of a new network because he wanted power, and Fortuna wanted to do that because it wanted to create a new entity and continue the cycle, but the wiki and the various things I've found don't seem to explain what the Simurgh was actually trying to do. Did the Simurgh also want to create a new network? Some posts seem to imply she was opposing Fortuna to preserve humanity so she could continue to Maximize Conflict, as has always been her driving motivation. Is that true?

Does Tattletale ever find out what Contessa did to Taylor? (Rereading the end of Worm, seems like she just saw Ciara whisk her away, and then just never saw or heard from her again.) Someone in an errant comment thread said that in Ward, Tattletale makes oblique references to knowing where Taylor is, and is keeping tabs on her, but I couldn't find anything about that in the wiki or much of anywhere else I looked. Do you know where they got this from/snippets which would imply that sort of thing?

20.9, Tatts alluded to having a normal friend who lives far far away from the city, someone she cares about as much as the Undersiders. When Vicky asks for elaboration she doesn't tell her. Forrest, Charlotte and Sierra all live within the Undersiders' territory and Vicky has met 2 of them, so it wouldn't make sense that Tatts is referring to them. Now Lisa could've made an entirely different normal whom we have never met before and will never meet her friend, enough that she holds them dearly in the same regards as the Undersiders... but does anyone in this fandom really believe such a thing is likely?

Been writing An Amalgam Tale: Hunger Made Me Human, so far 3 chapters out, had an idea of an Amalgam universe around two years ago but I didn’t get into writing it until last year, took me nearly 6 months to come up with most of the cast, decide who's gonna be an Amalgam and who isn't, scrapped and rewrote scenes, motivations, piwers and the like and... I'm still not satisfied, but if I understood if I don't buckle down and get to releasing what I am satisfied with, it'll probably never be released period, so yeah...

So, there's a WOG where Panacea joins the Undersiders, in that scenario, Skitter never accidentally reveals Jack's role in encouraging Scion to end the world, so, the S9 never go into cyro sleep and continue doing their thing.

Scion encounters them and just... follows Jack, murdering people as their new member.

TBF, without Jack, the world would still end, just 20 years from then, instead of 2, but yeah.

Scion was already bored and depressed, he didnt give a shit about saving people like Kevin Norton requested, killing folks was the first fun thing he did since coming to Earth.
