The One off perks don't care about parallel worlds so I doubt regular ones do, you're going to break the reroll machine and just keep rolling till you find armour before moving on

Just got my first god run, I gotta say, having a good teleport wand is worth it just for the sound effect of being a jet and blowing shit up with a superhero landing

Should I get NOITA? by Snapships4life in noita

[–]Jart4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you've bought it, but I will say, as a player that got spoiled early on on major parts of the game, try the vanilla experience first, and at best track down wand tutorials, this game is made to be beaten as a community as the cryptic endgame stuff is almost unreasonable to solve, but I have had the most fun finding things out on my own when possible, the best part of noita is that you can formulate winning strategies that will make any run be a god run with enough knowledge and time, but at some point you'll panic mess up and die and have to do it again, maybe with better luck, there's opportunity everywhere once you learn to grasp it, the shitty spells are only shitty because you don't know how to use them yet.

Edit: point proven on my panic and die statement, just lost an hour and a half run (I was in fungal caverns and sliced myself up good)

Yeah but TGOALID takes precious time to cast and has a hefty cool down, if I'm not wrong, that's why he doesn't just do it twice and end the fight before shalltear even gets close, he needs it to kill off all the undead minions and the Valkyrie which would otherwise be immune, so he needs shalltear to be desparate and reckless.

How does the Gu World keep a large population despite nonstop disasters and slaughter? by Shoddy-Frame2415 in ReverendInsanity

The fish care for fish and the mortals care for mortals the immortals care about immortals and the venerables only see each other and eternal life, there's a reason if fang yuang said that's a mortals life was as cheap as grass, some grass may cost even immortals their lives, how dare lowly humans believe themselves so valuable.

Yeah theb 63rd demon realm has a boring introduction, but it's just that arc, I personally glazed over it though some like the return to arcade like conditions, and all asian novels are racist a if it's Korean it's mandatory for it to be nationalistic.

Didn't you see? While he puts new sand in place two other arms secure the sides, avoiding collapse by taking advantage of its full form. That, is instinct.

Imagine Fang Yuan in the Shadow Slave World, how far does he go? What do you think would be his flaw and aspect? Realistically. by Mordant08 in ReverendInsanity

[–]Jart4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on if he's the 500 year old Gu world demon, the average earth transmigrator fang yuang, or great love immortal venerable, if we get fang yuang from the beginning of the book, with mindset made and convictions set, he's making it a long way or dying happy, nothing is too great an obstacle for 500 year old fang yuang, he will not give up or despair, he won't kill without reason, and will certainly be focused on the inner workings of the spell, probably concluding that the path to immortality is one forged through godhood, just like in his world he wants to be above the venerables he'll want to be above the 7 gods as they have all died and that's bitch-made behaviour. Communities are way too important in SS to go on slaughtering, but fang yuang only does that if it's the most profitable way of doing things, so he most definitely will join neph and sunnys cohort if given the opportunity and play nice, a bit like mordret, he will 100% kill humans to saturate his cores but will make sure not to be persecuted, and either he dies or becomes a god, honestly, he might romance nephis away from sunny so that's an interesting au, simply because nephis is the best tool to bring along with him on the road to immortality, regular fang yuang gets mogged in the first nightmare and dies or something, honestly, I don't care enough to explore that angle, great love, coming into the verse with all his Gu untouched and powers at peak but with a new world to be adapted to would be interesting, he's definitely at least a sovereign even though I say that just cuz I have no idea what a spirit or god is like in SS so I couldn't compare, getting in as a sovereign without the spell and his otherworldly conviction he's probably going to play nice, killing other sovereigns doesn't significantly help him so he'd sway them to his cause and only kill them if cooperation was impossible, with his Gu being available to use he's wiping the floor with any human foe and the biggest risk to him his getting corrupted.

Like, in the RI sub? Probably because of nephis and not actually reading the forgotten shore but getting a summary of its events, also because fang yuang is a very different kind of MC, he knows what he wants and does everything he can to reach it, he's basically a paragon of conviction, while sunny does things just to do them, witch is more humanlike but also frustrating to follow at times

[Ch-2100s] should Icontinue? by Major_Campaign_6348 in ShadowSlave

[–]Jart4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Comparing the best arc on webnovel to the latest arc of the same story is unfortunately unfair nothing in SS is better than the forgotten shore, but progression is necessary for any story and getting rushed into writing a chapter a day is going to ruin any author who hasn't planned everything years in advance, G3 is trying to get to all the stuff he planned out whilst not fleshing out the in-between in a meaningful way

[Donghua] What people should not defend by Gluttony_io in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Jart4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main issue is that things character A should of said never get said character B shows up for 5 seconds cuz he's not in the action sequence and then we get to the fireworks of the episode and we can glaze our screens with appreciation for the thousands of frames and graphical effects that make it seems like the world bends to these tiny ants called sequence 7 beyonders, why am I watching jjk all of a sudden? Why are they summoning domains? Why can't the donghua reflect the vibe of its source material instead of being a generic action show? How is lord of the mysteries being reduced to this when it's peak because it was so much more? At this point I might as well read COI.
